For UAE residents: an Emirates ID and a valid UAE driving licence are the two documents we need to see before handing over the car. Both must be in your name and valid for the full period of hire. We check the originals at the point of delivery, wherever that is in the city.

For tourists: bring your passport with the entry stamp or visa, your home-country driving licence, and an International Driving Permit if the licence is not printed in Latin script. A licence from the UK, Europe, Australia or the Gulf states is usually accepted as-is, but an IDP removes any doubt at a police checkpoint.

Age requirement: the minimum age for these Geely models is 21; the 25-year minimum applies only to luxury, sports and exotic classes, which these two cars are not.
