Prices and VAT
Luxury car rental prices in Istanbul vary between 7,500 TL and 15,000 TL per day depending on the model; the daily rate includes VAT. All eight vehicles in Rent-Trip's VIP fleet have automatic transmission, and the price shows the final amount including delivery and contract preparation.

Daily rental for eight luxury models starts from 7,500 TL: the Mercedes-Benz E-Class is the entry level, while the Mercedes-Benz S-Class tops the fleet at 15,000 TL. The BMW 5 Series is priced at 7,800 TL, Audi A6 at 7,600 TL, Porsche Macan at 14,000 TL, Land Rover Velar at 11,500 TL, BMW X5 at 11,000 TL and Audi Q7 at 12,000 TL. All figures are written VAT included; in Turkey, value-added tax is 20% and the amount is already calculated in. Therefore, no additional tax will be added to the price at the time of booking. The figure shown on Rent-Trip's website is exactly the same as the amount stated in the contract.
Weekly and monthly advantages
Weekly rental starts at 45,000 TRY, and monthly at 157,500 TRY; these rates are six and twenty-one times the daily rate, respectively. Over the long term, the daily cost decreases: in the weekly plan, the daily price drops from 7,500 TRY to below 7,500 TRY, and in the monthly plan, the daily amount becomes even more advantageous by the same logic. The Audi A6, with 204 hp, offers the most powerful entry-level engine in this group and can be rented from 7,600 TL per day. The Mercedes-Benz S-Class, however, is the fleet's flagship at 15,000 TL/day with its 381 hp 3.0-liter engine; it is designed for VIP guest hosting and private events. Delivery to business districts in Şişli, Levent, and Maslak is same-day.
Luxury SUVs: X5, Q7, Velar, Macan

Documents and driver conditions
As a foreign driver, the documents and driver requirements for picking up a luxury vehicle are more extensive than for standard classes. At Rent-Trip, renting VIP models requires the trio of passport, driver's license, and credit card as a basic condition; age and license experience vary depending on the vehicle class.
Required documents for foreigners
Every foreign driver renting a car in Turkey is required to provide four documents: passport, entry stamp, a license from the country of residence, and if the license is not in Latin alphabet, an international driving permit (IDP). At Rent-Trip, the entry stamp in your passport must show a date prior to the vehicle delivery date. Licenses issued in Arabic script, Cyrillic script, or Chinese characters are not accepted without an IDP; if you have an IDP, it is sufficient to present it together with your local license. Drivers from countries where licenses are issued in Latin alphabet (Germany, France, most US states) do not need an IDP. The passport and license must be in the main driver's name; if an additional driver is to be specified, their same documents must also be ready at the time of delivery.
Age and license requirements
In luxury class vehicles, the age and license experience requirements are higher than in economy classes. At Rent-Trip, models in this class typically require 25 years of age and 3 years of driving experience; however, for top-segment vehicles such as the Porsche Macan and Mercedes-Benz S-Class, the age limit can rise to 28 and the experience requirement to 5 years. Since the exact limits vary by the make and model of the vehicle, they are set out in the rental agreement. Additional drivers cannot be added for drivers who do not meet the age or experience requirement; the person designated as the main driver must meet all conditions. Driving experience is calculated from the date of license issuance; experience from licenses obtained in other countries is accepted in the same way.
Credit card and security
For luxury car rental, a credit card issued in the main driver's name is mandatory for the security deposit. At Rent-Trip, the physical card must be presented at the time of delivery; virtual cards or another person's card are not accepted for the deposit. The deposit amount varies depending on the vehicle's daily rental rate and is specified in the contract. The credit card must be enabled for international transactions and have sufficient limit; otherwise, the vehicle cannot be delivered. The deposit is released to your card after the vehicle is returned in full; the release time may take 7-10 business days depending on your bank.
Out-of-city travel and HGS
No special permit is required to leave the metropolis in a luxury vehicle; however, bridge and highway tolls are processed through the HGS system. All Rent-Trip vehicles are registered in this system; tolls are charged to your license plate, and you only need to comply with the rules specified in the contract during the rental period. Out-of-city routes vary depending on the class of the model you choose: SUVs are more comfortable for long distances, while sedans are advantageous for city driving and short trips.
What HGS is and how it works
HGS (Fast Pass System) is a payment system that provides electronic passage at bridge and highway toll booths. The toll is automatically deducted from the HGS account defined to your vehicle plate; you do not need to stop or pay cash. Current rates: Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge 110 TL, Eurasia Tunnel 280 TL during the day and 140 TL at night, Osmangazi Bridge 1,170 TL. Unpaid passages are considered "violations," and if not paid on time, the fee is multiplied by four. If you are planning an intercity trip, calculate the bridge and highway tolls on your route in advance—especially when crossing to Bursa via the Osmangazi Bridge, this amount can be a significant part of the total cost.
Out-of-town routes
- Şile and Ağva: is about 1.5 hours from the city; on the coastal road, diesel SUVs (BMW X5, Audi Q7) offer a more comfortable drive.
- Sapanca: A distance of about 2 hours; on the winding roads around the lake, the Land Rover Velar's driving dynamics stand out.
- Bursa and Uludağ: It is reached via the Osmangazi Bridge; the bridge toll is 1,170 TL and is deducted from HGS.
- Cappadocia: Long journey of about 8 hours; for this distance, the diesel X5 or Velar is more economical than petrol models.
- Edirne: On the Thrace motorway, long straight stretches stand out with Mercedes-Benz E-Class comfort.
When traveling outside the city with Rent-Trip vehicles, make sure your HGS balance is sufficient — insufficient balance leads to a violation crossing and a fourfold penalty. If you are planning a long distance, choosing diesel models significantly reduces fuel costs; on 8-hour routes like Cappadocia, this difference can reach 30 percent.

Delivery to every point
We bring the car to your address whether on the European side in Levent, Maslak, Şişli or on the Asian side in Kadıköy, Ataşehir, Ümraniye. Both airports are within delivery scope: Istanbul Airport (IST) is located in Arnavutköy on the European side, and Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) is located in Pendik on the Asian side. The distance between the two airports takes 1-1.5 hours depending on city traffic; therefore, we recommend planning delivery before your arrival time for a connecting itinerary.
Chauffeured rental option
Chauffeured rental is a separate service item for our guests who want to experience the luxury car experience without the stress of traffic. Chauffeured use stands out especially for business meetings, VIP transfers, and intercity routes. Our driver knows the traffic flow during peak hours in the metropolis and alternative routes; he manages the use of HGS on Bosphorus bridges and the Eurasia Tunnel on your behalf. The scope and fee of this service are arranged separately from the standard rental agreement and specified in the contract.
