Bridge and motorway crossings with HGS

When going out of town, bridge and highway crossings are made through the HGS system. Vehicles have an HGS tag; tolls are automatically deducted from this tag. Crossing the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge costs 110 TL, while crossing the Osmangazi Bridge towards Bursa costs 1,170 TL. If you use the Eurasia Tunnel, you pay 280 TL during the day and 140 TL at night. Unpaid crossings, if not paid on time, result in a penalty of four times the amount — so it is useful to confirm in the manner specified in the contract that the HGS balance is sufficient for bridge crossings with a rental car.
