Ferrari car rental in London

Five Ferrari models are available for Ferrari car rental in London, from the Portofino at £1,080 a day to the Purosangue at £1,800. Every car is delivered to your address in the city or to Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton, London City or Southend, with the delivery address, date and time agreed with a manager before the booking is fixed.

Ferrari car rental in London and the five cars you can book

Our Ferrari hire in London runs on five cars in a single Exotic class, priced from £1,080 to £1,800 a day. Two are convertibles, two are coupés and one is an SUV, so the choice comes down to body style and seats before it comes down to power.

Which Ferrari models are available to book

We keep five Ferraris: the Portofino, 296 GTB, F8 Spider, 488 Pista and Purosangue. Every car is automatic and rear-wheel drive apart from the Purosangue. Output spreads from 600 hp in the Portofino to 830 hp in the 296 GTB, which pairs a 3.0 L hybrid unit with the automatic gearbox. The 488 Pista and F8 Spider share a 3.9 L petrol engine rated at 720 hp.

F8 SpiderConvertible2Petrol720 hpRear-wheel
488 PistaCoupé2Petrol720 hpRear-wheel
PurosangueSUV4Petrol725 hpAll-wheel

The Portofino and F8 Spider are convertibles, the 296 GTB and 488 Pista are fixed-roof coupés, and the Purosangue is the only four-door SUV in the group.

The cheapest and the most expensive Ferrari on the page

The Portofino is the cheapest at £1,080 a day, and the Purosangue is the most expensive at £1,800 a day. Between them sit the 296 GTB at £1,100, the F8 Spider at £1,400 and the 488 Pista at £1,320, so the spread across the whole class is £720 a day. That gap buys body style and seating rather than age or condition: the Purosangue carries four people and drives all four wheels, the Portofino folds its roof and still seats four, and the two-seat coupés sit in the middle of the range.

Planning a trip out of town? Two of the five are convertibles, so the roof decides more about your trip than the horsepower figure does — a summer run out to the Cotswolds reads very differently with the top down. In our experience most weekend bookings come down to one question — roof or no roof — so decide that first and the model follows. The Purosangue is the one we suggest when four people share the car, and the 296 GTB when the drive itself is the point. Tell us the date and the delivery address, and we will confirm which of the five is free.

What Ferrari car rental in London costs per day, week and month

Ferrari car rental in London runs from £1,080 to £1,800 a day for the five cars on this page, and longer bookings follow the same model-by-model ladder: a week from £6,480, a month from £22,680.

How the daily rate works for Ferrari car rental

Daily rates run from £1,080 to £1,800 depending on the model chosen. The Portofino convertible sits at the bottom of that range, the 296 GTB adds a little for its hybrid drivetrain, the F8 Spider and 488 Pista share a similar step up, and the Purosangue SUV closes the ladder at £1,800. The rate is tied to the car, not to the season — so the useful comparison is between models, not between dates. We quote the same daily figure whether you collect on a Tuesday morning or a Saturday night, and the delivery address does not change it.

The practical consequence: pick the model first, then the length of the rental. Choosing a cheaper car for a longer trip saves more than squeezing a dearer one into a shorter window, and the gap between the two ends of the range is wide enough to pay for several extra days.

Weekly and monthly Ferrari car rental

A week starts at £6,480 and a month at £22,680. Both figures follow the same arithmetic across the whole fleet: a week is calculated as six daily rates, a month as twenty-one. On the Portofino that makes a week six times £1,080 and a month twenty-one times the same daily figure; on the Purosangue the same multipliers apply to £1,800. There is no separate long-stay tariff and no seasonal surcharge layered on top — the multiplier is the only thing that changes.

In our experience, most customers who book beyond four days ask for the weekly figure first; a week costs the same as six days, so it starts to work in their favour from the seventh day. If your plans run past a month, the monthly rate is the one to discuss with a manager, since anything longer is arranged case by case rather than promised on the site.

The deposit, the insurance excess, delivery fees and any discount are set out in the rental agreement, not in the daily rate — ask about them when the booking is agreed, so the total you plan around is the total you get.

Booking Ferrari car rental in London with a manager

Every Ferrari booking at Rent-Trip is agreed with a manager before it is fixed: the delivery address, the date and the time come first, and only then does the car get assigned. Nothing is confirmed automatically, and no reservation exists until that conversation has happened.

How to arrange Ferrari car rental with a manager

You agree the delivery address, date and time with a manager before the booking is fixed.

Why the manager call comes first

The order of the conversation matters more than it looks. Start there rather than with the car: a Portofino convertible and a Purosangue SUV suit completely different trips, and the address decides which of them can reach you at the hour you need it. Tell the manager where the car should be handed over — a hotel in Mayfair, a flat near Canary Wharf, a terminal at Heathrow or Gatwick — plus the day and the time window, and the model list narrows from five to one or two. The Ferraris on this page run from the 296 GTB coupe to the four-seat Purosangue, so the choice usually comes down to seats and roof rather than badge. Decide the address first and the model second — booked the other way round, the car is picked half blind and the timing gets squeezed afterwards.

What the rental agreement covers

  • Deposit and insurance excess: both are set out in the rental agreement, and the manager walks you through the figures before anything is fixed.
  • Delivery fees: the cost of bringing the car to your address or airport is stated in the agreement, not quoted on this page.
  • Fuel policy: the car is supplied with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank — no other fuel option is offered.
  • Territory and driver conditions: the minimum age, additional drivers and where the car may be driven are agreed when booking.

Read the agreement before the hand-over, not at the kerb. Questions about a clause are settled with the manager while the booking is still open, and that is far easier than unpicking a term once the car is standing outside your hotel.

A Ferrari delivered at short notice on a Friday afternoon in central London runs into the Congestion Charge window — 07:00–18:00 Monday to Friday, 12:00–18:00 at weekends and on bank holidays — and the ULEZ charge of £12.50 a day applies around the clock across all 32 boroughs for vehicles that do not meet the standards. Who pays both is agreed when booking rather than assumed. Tell the manager your route and your timing, and the hand-over slot can be set to miss the worst of it. In our experience the clients who enjoy the car most are the ones who spent ten minutes on that call beforehand.

Rent a Ferrari in London with delivery to your address or airport

Delivery is the default for every Ferrari car rental we arrange: the car comes to the address you give us, and the date and time are agreed with a manager before the booking is fixed. We also deliver to all six airports serving the city — Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton, London City and Southend.

Where we deliver Ferrari car rental

Rent-Trip delivers to any address locally and to Heathrow Airport (LHR), Gatwick Airport (LGW), Stansted Airport (STN), Luton Airport (LTN), London City Airport (LCY) and Southend Airport (SEN). Delivery outside these places is arranged case by case and is not promised on the site — if your hotel or address sits beyond the list, ask the manager first and treat the answer as the condition, not the page.

The delivery address, the date and the time are agreed with a manager before the booking is fixed, so the hand-over slot is confirmed rather than assumed. Build the agreed time around the airport runs instead of your landing time, and give the manager the flight-to-address detail at booking. In our experience the hand-over is where a good rental is won or lost — a confirmed address and a realistic slot matter more than which of the five cars you pick.

Fuel and condition at hand-over

  • Full-to-full: the car is supplied with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank; otherwise the missing fuel and a refuelling service fee are charged as set out in the rental agreement.
  • No other fuel option: a pre-paid tank or full-to-empty arrangement is not offered here, so plan your last refill before return.
  • Clean car: it arrives clean and with a full tank, and it must come back with a full tank.

Documents and driving rules for Ferrari car rental in London

Driving a Ferrari here is less about power and more about paperwork and lane discipline. The licence rules, the speed limits and the left-hand traffic below are the ones that actually catch people out on a first drive in the city.

Which licence you need for Ferrari car rental in London

A full, valid foreign licence is good for 12 months from your last entry to Great Britain — England, Wales and Scotland alike. That is the legal position on gov.uk, and it applies to every one of the five Rent-Trip cars, from the Portofino to the Purosangue. Whether you need an IDP is agreed when booking, so ask the manager if you hold a licence in a non-Latin script. What the law does not set is the hire side: minimum age, driving experience and the card held for the deposit are agreed when you book, not written into statute. In our practice the licence question is the one people leave to the last evening before collection, and it is the one that most often reshuffles a booking — settle the documents with the manager early and the model, the date and the delivery address all fall into place together.

Driving a Ferrari on the left in the city

All our cars are right-hand drive, and you keep to the left unless signs or markings say otherwise — Highway Code rule 160. Turning, stay close to the left-hand edge (rule 183). At roundabouts you give way to traffic approaching from the right (rule 185), and the circulating flow runs clockwise. Speed limits: 30 mph in built-up areas across England, Scotland and Northern Ireland, 60 mph on a single carriageway, 70 mph on a dual carriageway and on a motorway; lit roads default to 30 mph unless signs say otherwise. Locally many zones are signed at 20 mph, so read the signs rather than assume.

The rules that cost you money

  • Phone in hand: holding and using a phone, satnav or tablet is banned even at a red light — £200 and 6 penalty points, and drivers within 2 years of passing lose the licence.
  • Alcohol: England, Wales and Northern Ireland set 80 mg per 100 ml of blood, 35 µg per 100 ml of breath, 107 mg per 100 ml of urine; Scotland is stricter at 50 / 22 / 67.
  • Seat belts and child seats: a belt is required where fitted; children stay in a child seat until 135 cm tall or 12 years old, whichever comes first — up to £500.
  • Congestion Charge: £18 a day paid on the day or in advance, £21 if paid by midnight of the third day after; it runs 07:00–18:00 Monday to Friday and 12:00–18:00 at weekends and on bank holidays, inside the Inner Ring Road. Who covers charges and penalties on a hire car is agreed when booking.

The one habit worth rehearsing before you leave the delivery address: at a roundabout, look right first, every time — the clockwise flow is what unsettles drivers arriving from right-hand-traffic countries, and it settles within the first two junctions.

Congestion Charge and ULEZ with Ferrari car rental in London

Two daily charges apply to driving in the city: the Congestion Charge at £18 a day and the ULEZ at £12.50 a day for vehicles that do not meet the emissions standard. How both are handled on your booking is agreed with a manager before the car is delivered.

Congestion Charge

  • Charge: £18 a day when paid on the day of travel or in advance; £21 if paid by midnight on the third day after the trip.
  • Hours: 07:00–18:00 Monday to Friday, 12:00–18:00 on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays.
  • Zone: inside the Inner Ring Road — Pentonville Road, City Road, Old Street, Commercial Street, Mansell Street, Tower Bridge Road, New Kent Road, Elephant & Castle, Kennington Lane, Vauxhall Bridge Road, Park Lane, Edgware Road, Marylebone Road, Euston Road. Those roads themselves sit outside or on the boundary.
  • Electric cars: the 100% Cleaner Vehicle Discount ended on 25.12.2025. From 02.01.2026 electric cars pay £13.50 instead of £18 with Auto Pay — a 25% discount; without Auto Pay there is no discount. Blackwall and Silvertown tunnels get 0%.
  • Not charged: from 25 December to the New Year bank holiday inclusive.
  • Penalty: a PCN of £180, reduced to £90 if paid within 14 days, rising to £270 after a charge certificate; 28 days to pay.

ULEZ

  • Charge: £12.50 a day for non-compliant vehicles.
  • Hours: 24 hours a day, seven days a week, except 25 December.
  • Zone: all 32 boroughs, since 29 August 2023; the M25 is not inside it.
  • Standards: petrol cars and vans Euro 4 or better — in practice vehicles from 2006; diesel Euro 6, from September 2016; motorcycles Euro 3.
  • Penalty: PCN of £180, reduced to £90 if paid within 14 days.
  • Check: the TfL vehicle checker takes the registration number and returns the status.

Our five cars are recent petrol and hybrid models, and we do not promise a ULEZ status for any of them in advance: run the registration through the TfL checker once the car is assigned. The LEZ is a separate scheme for buses, coaches, lorries and vans over 3.5 tonnes — it does not apply to passenger cars, so a Ferrari falls outside it.

In our experience the Congestion Charge catches people out far more often than ULEZ — the zone boundary runs along Euston Road and Park Lane, so a hotel on the wrong side of the street changes the bill. Both charges run per calendar day, not per entry, so a second crossing on the same date costs nothing extra.

Who settles road charges, tolls and penalty notices on the car is agreed when booking.

Weekend, week or month of Ferrari car rental in London

Ferrari car rental in London for a weekend, a week or a month runs off the same daily rate — from £1,080 to £1,800 a day depending on which of the five cars you take — and longer bookings are simply that rate multiplied out. There is no separate weekend tariff and no seasonal surcharge to plan around.

Weekend Ferrari hire in London

A weekend booking is charged at the daily rate for each calendar day the car is with you, so a Saturday and Sunday in the Portofino comes out at the same £1,080 a day as a Tuesday. Two days in the 296 GTB — £1,100 a day, 830 hp, 2 seats — puts you on the road before the Friday evening peak and back after the Sunday one. What the weekend changes is not the price but the driving itself: the Congestion Charge runs from 07:00–18:00 Monday to Friday and 12:00–18:00 at weekends and on bank holidays, and ULEZ operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, except 25 December. In our experience the Saturday-morning hand-over is the busiest slot of the week, so agree the delivery time with a manager when you book rather than on the day.

Weekly and monthly Ferrari hire in the city

A week starts at £6,480 and a month at £22,680, calculated as the daily rate times six for seven days and times twenty-one for thirty. The 488 Pista at £1,320 a day works out to a week at that same six-day multiplier, and the Purosangue at £1,800 is the top of the range on both a daily and a longer booking. Monthly arrangements suit guests staying through a house move or a long project in the capital, where the car sits outside a single address for weeks rather than moving between hotels. Because the multiplier is fixed, the arithmetic is worth doing before you commit: a five-day booking costs five daily rates, so a week only pays off if you actually need the seventh one.

What to settle before a longer booking

  • Delivery and collection: the address, date and time are agreed with a manager before the booking is fixed, and the same applies to where the car is collected at the end.
  • Fuel: the car is supplied with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank — over a month that is a routine you will repeat several times, and the full-to-full rule is set out in the rental agreement.
  • Road charges: how Congestion Charge, ULEZ and the Dartford Crossing are handled is agreed when booking, not assumed.
  • The agreement: deposit, insurance excess, delivery fees and any discount are set out in the rental agreement, so read it before the hand-over rather than during it.

For a stay that runs most of a month, book the month as a month rather than stacking weekly bookings — mixing the two leaves you reconciling two agreements.
