What Does Including VAT Mean?

All prices on the page include 20% VAT — meaning nothing extra will be added to the amount stated when you sign the contract and make the rental payment. In practice in Turkey, many companies quote prices excluding VAT and call it "net," with the final payment being a fifth higher; with Rent-Trip, that is not the case. For example, the daily rental for a Volkswagen Caddy is 2,200 TL, and it remains 2,200 TL in the contract and at the terminal payment. When comparing offers from different companies, ask whether the stated fee includes tax — the difference between "2,200 TL + VAT" and "2,200 TL including VAT" is 440 TL per day."

Delivery and Locations

Rent-Trip delivers commercial minibuses to any point across Istanbul—from Beşiktaş to Pendik, including both airports. Since we have no physical office, the vehicle comes to the customer's desired location: home, construction site, or depot terminal. City-wide delivery and access to IST and SAW airports are included in the rental conditions; key handover takes 15–20 minutes—check the vehicle, sign the contract, and you're on your way.

Where Is Your Vehicle Delivered?

• European side: We deliver to Şişli, Beşiktaş, Beyoğlu, Fatih, Bakırköy, Levent, Maslak, Sarıyer, Esenyurt and Başakşehir — including Istanbul Airport (IST) in Arnavutköy.

Which Documents Are Required?

• Passport: must be valid together with the stamp taken upon entry; no vehicle is delivered without a passport.
• Driver's license: A valid driver's license from the main driver's home country, not expired.
• International Driving Permit (IDP): mandatory if the driver's license is not issued in the Latin alphabet; not required for licenses with the Latin alphabet.
• Credit card: A card issued in the main driver's name must be presented at delivery for the security deposit.
• Age and driving experience: It increases according to the vehicle class; exact limits are specified in the contract.

Conditions Stated in the Contract

The document set for foreign drivers is checked at delivery at Rent-Trip, and all conditions are written into the rental agreement. The deposit amount, daily kilometer limit, and coverage of the insurance package — each of these varies by vehicle and is set out in the contract; we don't share these values as open figures over the phone or on the website, because each delivery is arranged under different conditions. The credit card block is made at delivery and released upon return depending on the vehicle's condition. Reading the terms before signing the contract is your only guarantee against surprises at return — especially clarify the fuel policy and the steps to follow in case of damage. If you want to add a second driver besides the main driver, their license and passport must also be presented at delivery; this additional driver information is also recorded in the contract, and the fee is set out in the contract.

HGS and Out-of-Town Trips

When heading out of town with a panel van, HGS is mandatory at bridge and motorway crossings; tolls are charged to the vehicle's plate and payment can be made later. Like all registered vehicles in Turkey, rental panel vans are covered by compulsory traffic insurance, but how toll fees are paid is set out in the rental agreement.
