What does price including VAT mean

In Turkey, 20% VAT is added to car rental prices, but at Rent-Trip, the figures you see in the table are final. This means that when you rent a Sandero for 1,600 TL per day, the total you need to pay is 1,600 TL — no extra tax line is added to the cart. Compulsory traffic insurance legally covers every registered vehicle and is included in the rental fee; additional insurance options are specified in the contract. This is why you clearly see the difference when comparing prices with companies that show amounts excluding VAT. The security deposit is made from the main driver's own card and is released back to the card's limit after the vehicle is returned. We recommend that you verify this amount is reserved on your card when picking up the vehicle—an insufficient limit for the deposit may delay delivery the same day.

Car Delivery and Airport Options

The most practical aspect of renting a Dacia at Rent-Trip is the delivery of the vehicle to you: no matter which side of the city you are on or which airport you land at, the car is waiting for you. Since we do not have a physical office, our entire operation is based on bringing the vehicle to your location, which eliminates your local transportation costs.

Delivery to IST and SAW

The two airports are on opposite shores of the city: Istanbul Airport (IST) is in Arnavutköy on the European side, and Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) is in Pendik on the Asian side. No matter where your flight lands, you can pick up one of our Dacia models; all 4 vehicles from the Sandero to the Duster are delivered to both IST and SAW. At delivery, you only need to present your passport, entry stamp, and driver's license; the rental agreement is signed at the same time. Car delivery is not in the airport parking lot but by our team waiting at the terminal exit; so you don't have to search for public transport with your luggage. For delivery planned according to your landing time, just share your flight number during reservation.

Delivery Points on the European and Asian sides

Even when you're staying in the city center, we'll come to your delivery address: on the European side, Şişli, Beşiktaş, Beyoğlu, Fatih, and Bakırköy; on the Asian side, Kadıköy, Üsküdar, Ataşehir, and Maltepe are among our main delivery zones. We'll deliver the vehicle wherever you want it—in front of your hotel, at the door of your apartment, or at your workplace. HGS, Bridges, and Out-of-Town Trips

If the only question in your mind when going out of town is bridge and highway fees, this section clarifies how HGS works and weekend routes. When you take delivery of the vehicle, the HGS tag is attached and ready for use; tolls are charged to you during the rental period.

How HGS works

HGS is an electronic toll system that works by automatically reading the tag on the vehicle's windshield at bridge and highway toll booths. In Rent-Trip vehicles, the tag is active and tolls are collected as specified in the rental agreement. According to current tolls, the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge is 110 TL, the Eurasia Tunnel is 280 TL during the day and 140 TL at night, and the Osmangazi Bridge is 1,170 TL. Unpaid crossings are counted as "violated passages" and if not paid within the due time, the fee increases fourfold.
