Sports and Convertibles in the Mercedes-Benz rental fleet in Toronto
Sports holds three cars from C$ 400 a day and Convertibles exactly one — the C 300 Cabriolet at C$ 200. The Sports group runs from the AMG C 63 S, a 671 hp hybrid sedan with five seats and all-wheel drive, through the AMG GT 53 4-Door liftback with 429 hp, up to the AMG GT coupe: 577 hp, two seats, rear-wheel drive. If an open roof is the point of the trip, fix the date before you settle on anything else.
What the Premium group covers
Every one runs a 2.0 L engine; the GLA and CLA make 221 hp, the C-Class and GLC 255 hp.
Where Luxury sits
Luxury is four cars from C$ 600 to C$ 1,399 a day, and it is not one kind of vehicle. The S-Class sedan and the Maybach S-Class both seat five with a 3.0 L and a 4.0 L engine respectively; the AMG G 63 is a 577 hp SUV with five seats, and the Maybach GLS 600 is a 550 hp SUV with four. Two of the four are SUVs, two are sedans — worth knowing before you picture the car in your head. The Maybach GLS 600 is the most expensive on this page at C$ 1,399 a day, and it is the only four-seat SUV in the fleet.

Mercedes-Benz car rental in Toronto for an event or a special occasion
The Maybach S-Class is a four-door sedan with 496 hp from a 4.0 L engine and room for five; the AMG G 63 is the boxy SUV people recognise from a distance, 577 hp and five seats; the Maybach GLS 600 sits at the top of the page at C$ 1,399. The Maybach GLS 600 seats 4, not 5 — check the seat count before you plan passengers, because a fifth guest will not fit in the rear.
Our fleet splits four cars to Premium, four to Luxury, three to Sports and one to Convertibles — 12 in total, all automatic, 11 petrol and one hybrid.
How Mercedes-Benz car rental in Toronto is booked and delivered
Rent-Trip agrees the booking with a manager, and the car comes to you. You tell us where you will be, and we bring the Mercedes-Benz there.
Delivery of your Mercedes-Benz in Toronto
We deliver to any address in the city and to Pearson (YYZ), Billy Bishop (YTZ) and Hamilton (YHM) airports. Union Station, Downtown Toronto, Mississauga, North York, Scarborough and Vaughan all fall inside the delivery area, which covers the whole of the city and the ring of districts around it. Outside those places delivery is arranged case by case and is not promised on the site — ask the manager before you count on it.
Fuel and hand-over on a Mercedes-Benz in Toronto
If the tank comes back short, the missing fuel and a refuelling service fee are charged as set out in the rental agreement. No other fuel option is offered: there is no pre-paid tank and no full-to-empty arrangement, so budget one stop at a station before you bring the car back.
What to have ready when the car arrives
- Driving licence: a valid licence from your own province, state or country covers a visit of less than 3 months in Ontario.
- Insurance and ownership: the car must carry insurance, and the ownership permit travels with it.
The minimum age for the driver, any young-driver charge and the cards accepted are agreed when booking — none of them is fixed on this page.
Documents for Mercedes-Benz car rental in Toronto
Driving licence rules for Mercedes-Benz hire
A visitor to Ontario for less than 3 months may drive on a valid licence from their own province, state or country. Ontario's own wording is plain: "If you are visiting Ontario for less than 3 months … you can use a valid driver's licence from your own province, state or country." Anyone visiting from another country for more than 3 months needs an International Driver's Permit (IDP) from their own country — and it cannot be obtained in Canada, so it has to be sorted before you fly.
Insurance and ownership documents in the car
- Ownership permit: carry the original or an exact copy of the vehicle registration document in the car at all times.
- Minimum driving age: Ontario law sets the minimum age for a driver at 16.
- What we hand over: the paperwork that belongs to the car travels with it, so you are never driving on documents you have to chase.
The minimum rental age, the young-driver surcharge and the cards accepted are agreed when booking — they are not fixed by Ontario law, so we settle them with you before the booking is fixed rather than leaving them to the hand-over.
What else to keep in mind on the road
Ontario's blood-alcohol limit is a criminal matter from 0.08 (80 mg per 100 ml of blood). The 0.05–0.079 "warn range" brings an immediate 7-day licence suspension, an 8-hour course and a C$250 fine for a first offence, while drivers aged 21 and under and holders of G1 or G2 licences must show zero.
If you plan to cross into the United States in the car, most vehicles hired in Canada may go, but only with permission from the specific rental location — without written permission the trip breaks the agreement and the insurance, and you will need your passport at the border.
Longer Mercedes-Benz car rental in Toronto
A week or a month of Mercedes-Benz car rental in Toronto changes the arithmetic, and it changes which car makes sense. Our fleet runs 12 Mercedes-Benz models from C$ 61 to C$ 1,399 a day, and every one of them is available for a longer stretch.
Weekly and monthly rates on the Mercedes-Benz fleet
The multipliers are fixed across the fleet, so the cheapest model on the page, the Mercedes-Benz GLA at C$ 61 a day, comes to C$ 366 for a week and C$ 1,281 for a month. At the other end, the Maybach GLS 600 follows the same principle from its own daily figure.
Which Mercedes-Benz holds up over a month
Mercedes-Benz CLA: a 5-seat sedan at C$ 79 a day, a step up in presence at a modest step up in rate.
Fuel, kilometres and the practical side of a long booking
The car comes clean with a full tank and goes back with a full tank. Miss the refuel and the missing fuel plus a refuelling service fee are charged as set out in the rental agreement; we do not offer a pre-paid tank or a full-to-empty option. Petrol prices in the city move through the year, and 11 of the 12 cars here run on petrol — the AMG C 63 S is the one hybrid.
If your month is split between an apartment and a hotel, say so at the booking stage rather than mid-hire.
One more thing worth planning: winter tyres are not mandatory in Ontario, but they are mandatory in Quebec from 1 December to 15 March for cars registered there, with a fine of C$ 200–300. A car with Ontario plates is outside that rule, so a December trip east does not require a tyre change — but ask yourself whether you want one anyway.
Driving a Mercedes-Benz rental in Toronto and beyond
Ontario speed limits are posted in kilometres per hour.
What Ontario's driving rules mean for your rental
- Alcohol: from 0.08 (80 mg per 100 ml of blood) it is a criminal matter; the 0.05–0.079 «warn range» brings an immediate 7-day licence suspension, an 8-hour course and a C$250 fine for a first offence.
- Young drivers: drivers aged 21 and under, and holders of G1 or G2 licences, must have zero alcohol.
- Documents in the car: insurance for the vehicle and the original or an exact copy of the ownership permit must travel with you.
The young-driver surcharge, the minimum age at which we hand over a car and the cards we accept are agreed when booking — none of them is a rule of the province.
Tolls, fuel and winter tyres
Highway 407 ETR is the tolled road here, and it has no cash booths. Light-vehicle rates run from 49.93¢ to 119.21¢ per kilometre depending on zone and time of entry, plus a C$1 trip toll charge; without a transponder a camera charge of C$5.30 per trip and a C$5 monthly account fee apply. Who covers tolls, road charges and penalty notices on a rental car is agreed when booking — we do not assume it in either direction.
Fuel is sold by the litre: regular petrol stood at about C$1.75 a litre in October 2026, with GasWizard.ca quoting 177.9¢ on 18 October 2026 and some sources a few cents apart. Our cars leave clean with a full tank and come back full — that is the only fuel option we offer, and any shortfall plus a refuelling service fee is charged as set out in the rental agreement.
Winter tyres are not compulsory in Ontario. They are compulsory in Quebec from 1 December to 15 March, but only for vehicles registered there, including rental cars — a car on out-of-province plates is not caught by that rule, though a Quebec-registered car driven there in winter without them risks a C$200–300 fine.
Crossing into the United States
Most cars rented in Canada may be taken into the United States, but only with permission from the specific rental location, and some classes are restricted. Without written permission the trip breaks both the agreement and the insurance. Carry your passport at the border.
Why book Mercedes-Benz car rental in Toronto with us
Rent-Trip keeps 12 Mercedes-Benz cars on this page alone, spread across four classes and priced from C$ 61 to C$ 1,399 a day. That range is the practical argument: you pick the car by the trip, not by whatever happens to be left on the lot.
- One brand, twelve cars: every vehicle here is a Mercedes-Benz, so the choice is between a GLA crossover and an AMG GT rather than between makes.
- Four classes: Premium holds 4 cars, Luxury 4, Sports 3 and Convertibles 1, which covers a city errand and a wedding in the same booking system.
- Automatic throughout: all 12 cars have an automatic gearbox, and 10 of them send power to all four wheels.
- Weekly and monthly rates: a week works out at the daily rate times six, a month at the daily rate times twenty-one.
Longer stays change the arithmetic more than the car list does. Weekly bookings are calculated as the daily rate multiplied by six, monthly bookings as the daily rate multiplied by twenty-one — take the GLA at C$ 61 and a month of it is C$ 1,281, while a month of the CLA at C$ 79 comes to C$ 1,659 by the same multiplication. If your stay stretches close to a month, ask the manager to price the whole period on the monthly basis rather than renewing week by week.
The hand-over is deliberately plain. The car arrives clean with a full tank and goes back the same way, full-to-full; anything missing at return is charged as the rental agreement sets out, and we offer no pre-paid tank or full-to-empty alternative. Insurance, the deposit and any delivery fee sit in that same agreement rather than in a headline figure, so read it before the keys change hands.
What we do not do is promise things the booking has not settled. Delivery beyond the addresses we list is arranged case by case and is not guaranteed on the site, and the minimum age, the cards accepted and the territory limit are all confirmed with a manager when you book.
