A sign can lower any of these. The fine runs up to ฿1,000, and on the receipt it is usually ฿500. On Motorway 7 the 120 km/h limit is enforced primarily by speed cameras, and a camera fine is issued to the owner of the car — the rental company — and then re-invoiced to the renter who was driving.
Insurance, deposit and the rental agreement
