Exotic car rental in Toronto and the 14 cars you can book
Exotic car rental in Toronto with Rent-Trip means 14 supercars from four marques — McLaren, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maserati — spanning C$ 1,499 to C$ 2,599 a day.
Which supercars make up the fleet
Our 14 cars run from the McLaren 570S Spider at C$ 1,499 a day to the Ferrari F8 Tributo at C$ 2,599, and the four marques split unevenly: McLaren contributes five models, Ferrari four, Lamborghini four and Maserati one. The McLaren line-up alone covers the 570S Spider, 570S, 600LT Spider, 720S and Artura, the last of those a hybrid with 671 hp. Ferrari fields the 488 GTB, 488 Spider, Roma and F8 Tributo, Lamborghini the Huracán EVO, Huracán EVO Spyder, Huracán Performante and Urus, and Maserati the MC20.
Coupes, convertibles and the one SUV compared
| Model | Body | Seats | Fuel | Drivetrain | From per day |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| McLaren 570S Spider | Convertible | 2 | Petrol | Rear-wheel | C$ 1,499 |
| Ferrari 488 GTB | Coupe | 2 | Petrol | Rear-wheel | C$ 1,599 |
| Ferrari Roma | Coupe | 4 | Petrol | Rear-wheel | C$ 1,599 |
| McLaren 600LT Spider | Convertible | 2 | Petrol | Rear-wheel | C$ 1,599 |
| McLaren 570S | Coupe | 2 | Petrol | Rear-wheel | C$ 1,625 |
| Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder | Convertible | 2 | Petrol | All-wheel | C$ 1,699 |
| Lamborghini Huracán Performante | Coupe | 2 | Petrol | All-wheel | C$ 1,699 |
| Lamborghini Urus | SUV | 5 | Petrol | All-wheel | C$ 1,699 |
| Lamborghini Huracán EVO | Coupe | 2 | Petrol | All-wheel | C$ 1,824 |
| Maserati MC20 | Coupe | 2 | Petrol | Rear-wheel | C$ 1,899 |
| McLaren 720S | Coupe | 2 | Petrol | Rear-wheel | C$ 1,900 |
| McLaren Artura | Coupe | 2 | Hybrid | Rear-wheel | C$ 1,999 |
| Ferrari 488 Spider | Convertible | 2 | Petrol | Rear-wheel | C$ 2,000 |
| Ferrari F8 Tributo | Coupe | 2 | Petrol | Rear-wheel | C$ 2,599 |
Nine cars are coupes, four are convertibles and one is an SUV. Our fleet is petrol almost throughout: 13 cars run on petrol and the McLaren Artura is the single hybrid, which matters if you plan long days in traffic and would rather not refuel as often. All-wheel drive appears on the four Lamborghinis and nowhere else, so wet autumn pavement favours those.
How exotic car rental in Toronto works with delivery
Every booking is fixed only after the delivery address, the date and the time have been agreed with a manager, so the hand-over happens where you actually are — at home, at a hotel, at an office or at the airport.
Where we deliver the car
- Any address in the city: we deliver to any address here, including Downtown Toronto, North York, Scarborough, Mississauga and Vaughan.
- Outside these places: delivery is arranged case by case and is not promised on the site, so ask the manager before you count on it.
Fixing the address, date and time with a manager
The delivery address, the date and the time are agreed with a manager before the booking is fixed.
What the delivery covers by class
The car comes clean with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank; anything else is charged as set out in the rental agreement. On longer bookings the weekly rate is the daily rate times six and the monthly rate is the daily rate times twenty-one — the Ferrari 488 GTB, for example, runs from C$ 1,599 a day, C$ 9,594 a week and C$ 33,579 a month.
Choosing an exotic car rental in Toronto by trip
The right car depends on where you are going and who is coming.
A day in the city or a run to Niagara Falls
A convertible suits a Niagara Falls or Niagara-on-the-Lake run, while a coupe is the pick for downtown. Four of our 14 cars drop the roof: the McLaren 570S Spider, the McLaren 600LT Spider, the Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder and the Ferrari 488 Spider, all two-seaters with automatic gearboxes and rear- or all-wheel drive. Highway 407 ETR is a toll route with no cash booths, so plan the route before leaving.
Longer trips to Muskoka, Blue Mountain and Prince Edward County
- Weekly and monthly rates: a week is charged at the daily rate times six, a month at the daily rate times twenty-one, so a longer trip spreads the cost differently from a single day.
- Winter tyres: not mandatory in Ontario, but Quebec requires them from 1 December to 15 March for Quebec-registered cars, with a fine for non-compliance.
Documents for exotic car rental in Toronto
What a driver needs to carry is short enough to check before the car arrives.
Driving on your own licence or with an IDP
A visitor to Ontario for less than 3 months may drive on a valid licence from their own province, state or country. Anyone visiting from another country for more than 3 months needs an International Driver's Permit (IDP) from their own country. Under Ontario rules the driver must carry insurance for the car and keep the original or an exact copy of the ownership permit in the vehicle, and the legal minimum age to drive is 16.
What the rental agreement sets out
- Discounts: weekly and monthly rates follow daily × 6 and daily × 21; anything beyond that is set out in the rental agreement.
- Cards accepted and territory limit: confirmed when booking, including whether the car may cross into the United States.
The territory point matters more with this fleet than with a compact: most cars taken in Canada can be driven into the United States, but only with the permission of the specific rental branch, and exotic classes carry restrictions. Driving across the border without written permission breaks both the agreement and the insurance, and a passport is required at the crossing.
Alcohol, speed and the paperwork in the car
Ontario treats alcohol by blood level: from 0.08 (80 mg per 100 ml of blood) it is a criminal matter, while the 0.05–0.079 «warn range» brings an immediate 7-day licence suspension, an 8-hour course and a fine for a first offence; drivers aged 21 and under and holders of G1 or G2 licences must show zero. Highway speed limits run at 110 km/h on selected stretches of provincial highway rather than the older 100 km/h, so read the signs rather than assume.
Fuel and running costs of exotic car rental in Toronto
Every car on this page runs on petrol except one, and the fuel policy is the same for all 14: the car arrives with a full tank and comes back with a full tank. Anything else — the missing fuel plus a refuelling service fee — is charged as set out in the rental agreement.
What the cars burn and what a litre costs
Ferrari F8 Tributo and McLaren 720S: 3.9 L and 4.0 L, both 710 hp, both rear-wheel drive.
Without a transponder the camera charge and a monthly account fee apply. Who covers tolls, congestion charges and penalty notices on a hired car is agreed when booking — we do not decide it for you here.
On a two-seat coupe the fuel stop is also a practical break, not an inconvenience.
Weekly and monthly exotic car rental in Toronto
Longer bookings change the arithmetic of exotic car hire: a week is charged at six times the daily rate and a month at twenty-one times, so the price per day falls the longer the car stays out. Our 14 supercars run from C$ 1,499 to C$ 2,599 a day, which puts a week at C$ 8,994 to C$ 15,594 and a month at C$ 31,479 to C$ 54,579.
How the weekly and monthly rates are built
- Weekly rate: six times the daily price of the model you pick, so the McLaren 570S Spider at C$ 1,499 a day comes to C$ 8,994 for the week.
- Monthly rate: twenty-one times the daily price, which puts the same McLaren at C$ 31,479 for the month.
- Top of the fleet: the Ferrari F8 Tributo at C$ 2,599 a day works out at C$ 15,594 weekly and C$ 54,579 monthly.
What to settle before a long booking
- Dates: the collection and return days are agreed with a manager when the booking is fixed, and the multiplier applies to the whole span.
- Fuel: the car comes with a full tank and goes back full; anything missing is charged with a refuelling fee as set out in the rental agreement.
- Tolls and penalties: who pays road charges, tolls and penalty notices is agreed when booking, so raise it before the car is handed over.
- Territory: whether the car may cross into the United States is agreed when booking, and exotics carry their own limits.
Cross-border and out-of-town exotic car rental in Toronto
The city is the starting point, not the limit. Every one of those journeys has its own rules, and the terms are agreed with a manager when the booking is fixed — not left to be discovered at the border.
Crossing into the United States
- Permission first: most cars hired in Canada may be driven into the United States, but only with the permission of the company that owns the vehicle, and restrictions apply by class — exotics among them.
- Without written permission: driving across the border without it breaks the agreement and voids the insurance.
- At the border: a passport is required.
- Ask before you book: tell the manager the crossing is part of the plan, so the territory limit is settled in the agreement rather than assumed.
Winter tyres and the Quebec rule
Ontario does not require winter tyres. Quebec does — from 1 December to 15 March, for every car registered in Quebec, hired vehicles included, with a fine for non-compliance. Cars carrying plates from other provinces fall outside that rule, so a vehicle delivered here is not bound by it on a Montreal trip.
Tolls on the way out
Highway 407 ETR is the route to know — a toll road with no cash booths. Passenger rates run at a per-kilometre rate that depends on zone and time of entry, plus a trip toll charge. Who pays road charges, tolls and penalty notices on a hired car is agreed when booking, so settle it with the manager before the car is delivered.
Longer trips and what to take
Fuel is full-to-full — the car leaves with a full tank and comes back with one, or the missing fuel and a refuelling fee are charged as set out in the rental agreement.
Practical tips before you book exotic car rental in Toronto
Book the car for the days you actually need, and keep the hand-over window loose.
A few things decide whether the day goes smoothly:
- Licence: a visitor to Ontario for less than 3 months drives on a valid licence from their own province, state or country; a stay beyond that needs an International Driver's Permit obtained before arrival, since it cannot be issued in Canada.
- Fuel: the car is supplied with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank — full-to-full is the only option we offer, and anything else is charged as set out in the rental agreement.
- Territory: most cars taken in Canada can cross into the US, but exotic classes carry restrictions and need written permission from the rental point — without it the agreement and the insurance are void.
Pick the body style for the road, not the photograph. Nine of the 14 cars are coupes, four are convertibles and one is an SUV, and the cheapest car on the page — the McLaren 570S Spider at C$ 1,499 a day — is an open-top, so roof-down driving costs nothing extra here. Only the Lamborghini Urus seats five, which makes it the sole option when the whole group travels together.
