A seven-day booking runs from €78 — that is the daily rate multiplied by six, not by seven. The same mechanic scales to a month: daily × 21, from €273. Across our 24 cars the daily rate sits between €13 and €34, so the weekly figure follows the class you pick, not the length of the booking.

How the weekly rate is calculated

Our weekly rate is the daily price × 6, so a week starts at €78; a month is daily × 21, from €273. Take the Ford Fiesta at €13 a day: the week comes to €78. A Nissan Micra at the same €13 lands on the same figure, while a Jeep Avenger at €34 a day comes to €204 for the week and €714 for the month. The multiplier is fixed, so it applies identically to a Kia Picanto at €15 and to a Nissan Leaf at €30 — no separate weekly tariff sheet. Weekly prices by class

Economy holds the bulk of the fleet — 16 cars from €13 a day, which is where the €78 week comes from. Electric sits at 4 cars from €22, Convertibles at a single Fiat 500C from €30, and Crossover at 3 cars from €33, topping out at €34 a day for the Jeep Renegade and Jeep Avenger. Read the two right-hand columns together: the weekly figure is always the daily one times six, so a class that looks close on a single day can separate over seven. If your trip is a fixed seven days, compare the weekly column rather than the daily — the gap between Economy and Crossover is €120 across the week, which is worth knowing before you book.

What moves the price up or down

• Class: Economy starts at €13 a day, Crossover at €33 — the widest single lever on the weekly total.
• Transmission: automatic comes with the Electric class, the hybrid Toyota Yaris and the hybrid Jeep Renegade; the rest of the fleet is manual.
• Seats: 4 or 5 depending on the model — Kia Picanto, Toyota Aygo, Hyundai i10 and Fiat 500 seat four.
• Fuel type: petrol dominates, with four electric cars and two hybrids (Toyota Yaris and Jeep Renegade) in the mix.
• Booking length: seven days bill as daily × 6, thirty as daily × 21 — the only two multipliers we apply.

The deposit, the insurance excess and any delivery fee are set out in the rental agreement and are agreed when booking, so the weekly figure above is the rental itself. One practical note from our side: if your dates are flexible, fix the class first and the dates second — moving from Economy to Crossover changes the week by €120, while shifting the start day by 24 hours changes nothing in the arithmetic.

• Toyota Yaris: €15 a day, 1.5 L hybrid with an automatic gearbox — the only Economy car here with both.
• Dacia Sandero, Fiat Panda, Hyundai i10, Fiat 500: €16–€18 a day, 4 or 5 seats, petrol, manual.

Electric and hybrid options for a week

Four Electric cars start at €22 a day: Fiat 500e, Peugeot e-208, Renault 5 E-Tech and Nissan Leaf, all automatic and all front-wheel drive. The Leaf is the most powerful of the four with 5 seats and 150 hp; the 500e is the smallest at 4 seats and 118 hp. Two hybrids sit elsewhere in the fleet — the Toyota Yaris at €15 a day and the Jeep Renegade at €34 — and both come with an automatic.

Crossover and Convertible for a week

• Kia Stonic: €33 a day, 5 seats, 1.0 L petrol, manual — the cheapest way into the Crossover class.
• Jeep Avenger: €34 a day, 5 seats, 1.2 L petrol, manual, 100 hp.

That covers Ruzafa and the streets around the City of Arts and Sciences just as it covers Malvarrosa and El Cabanyal, so a weekly booking can begin at the door of wherever you are sleeping. The car is supplied with a full tank and comes clean, so the first thing you do is drive, not queue.

Picking up a weekly rental at the airport

We deliver to Valencia Airport (VLC), so a weekly booking can start the moment you land rather than the next morning. Aeropuerto de Valencia sits in Manises, roughly 12.6 km by road from Plaça de l'Ajuntament — about 26 minutes without traffic — and Metrovalencia lines 3 and 5 run the same route into the centre in around 15 minutes. Because the delivery address, date and time are agreed with a manager before the booking is fixed, if your flight is delayed, message the manager with the new arrival time. We also deliver to València-Joaquín Sorolla, the high-speed station, for travellers arriving by rail — the same rule applies, the address and the time are agreed in advance.

Driving your weekly car rental in Valencia through ZBE, parking and fuel

Three things decide how smooth a week behind the wheel goes here: the low-emission zone, paid kerbside parking and what you put in the tank. Each has its own rules, and each is easy to get wrong on day one.

ZBE València and the DGT sticker

ZBE València (Zona de Bajas Emisiones) covers 27.8 km² inside Ronda Nord, avenidas de Tarongers and Serradora, and Bulevard Sud, and runs around the clock, 365 days. The restriction targets category A cars — petrol registered before 2001 and diesel before 2006 — with no DGT sticker, and it phases in by registration: from 01.12.2025 to 31.12.2026 it applies to category A vehicles registered outside the province of Valencia, through 2027 to those registered outside the city, and from 01.01.2028 to every category A car including residents'. Ask us for the sticker class of your model if you plan to drive into the centre daily.

Parking in the city

Zona azul in Ciutat Vella, L'Eixample and Extramurs takes 1.00 EUR for 60 minutes and 1.70 EUR for 120, capped at two hours, Monday to Saturday 09:00–14:00 and 16:00–20:00. Outside the centre the same blue zone drops to 0.80 EUR an hour. Zona naranja charges non-residents 2.10 EUR for 60 minutes in rotation hours — Ciutat Vella Monday to Friday 9:00–20:00, Ruzafa, El Botànic and La Roqueta 9:00–19:00, Saturday 9:00–15:00 everywhere. Pay through ElParking (run by EYSA) or Telpark. An ORA ticket can be cancelled for 4.00 EUR («Anulación Denuncia»).

Fuel and the AP-7

Gasolina 95 E5 averages 1.978 EUR a litre across 62 stations in the municipality, with a median of 2.039 and a low of 1.74; diesel Gasóleo A averages 1.923 across 63 stations. The AP-7 (Autopista del Mediterráneo) between Salou, Tarragona, Valencia and Alicante has been toll-free since 01.01.2020, when the Aumar concession ended and 373.8 km were released, so Dénia, Calp, Benidorm and Peñíscola cost nothing in péage from the city. Our cars leave with a full tank and come back full — lleno-lleno — so fill up close to the return point and keep the receipt.

Documents, deposit and insurance for a weekly car rental in Valencia

A weekly booking is fixed on documents that are valid for the whole seven days, not just for the day you collect the car. Spanish law sets the driving rules; the deposit, the excess and the insurance options are set out in the agreement, and the delivery address, date and time are agreed with a manager before the booking is fixed.

What the driver needs for a week behind the wheel

• EU/EEA licence: fully valid in Spain while it has not expired — no extra document is required for a week of driving.
• Licence from outside the EU/EEA: valid in Spain if it is in force and the holder is old enough for the equivalent category; DGT advises getting an international driving permit before the trip.
• Licence not in Spanish: accepted with an official certified translation into Spanish, or if it was issued on the model of Annex 9 of the Geneva Convention or Annex 6 of the Vienna Convention.
• International driving permit: an additional document only — it is shown together with the passport and the national licence, and it is valid for one year.

Deposit and insurance on a week's booking

The deposit is held against possible damage and extras, and the amount is set out in the agreement — the same document carries the excess, the figure the renter pays towards damage. Spanish law puts compulsory third-party cover into every hire: 70,000,000 EUR per incident for personal injury, however many people are hurt, and 15,000,000 EUR per incident for property damage, under Real Decreto Legislativo 8/2004, article 4.2 as amended by Ley 5/2025, in force since 26.07.2025. That cover pays third parties, not the driver and not the car. The paperwork is agreed when booking, so the deposit and the excess are settled as set out in the rental agreement. If the model you booked is not available, the renter may ask for another car at no extra charge, even a higher class; if a lower class is supplied, the price has to come down.

Fuel, fines and the return after seven days

Our cars are supplied with a full tank and returned with a full tank — lleno-lleno — and the fuel policy is set out in the rental agreement. Parking and unpaid toll fines fall on the owner or the renter of the car; offences to do with driving, alcohol and drugs fall on whoever was at the wheel.

Day trips on a weekly car rental in Valencia via the AP-7 and beyond

The AP-7 (Autopista del Mediterráneo) between Salou (Tarragona) and Alicante has been toll-free since 01.01.2020, when the Aumar concession ended — 373.8 km released. That single change puts Dénia, Calp, Benidorm and Peñíscola within reach of a weekly booking without a péage.

What a full tank actually buys you

Gasolina 95 E5 across the municipality of València averaged €1.978 a litre, with a median of €2.039, a minimum of €1.74 and a maximum of €2.089 across a sample of 62 filling stations. Widen the net to the whole province and the average drops to €1.915 over 602 stations, with a low of €1.677. Gasóleo A runs at €1.923 on average inside the city (63 stations, low €1.769) and €1.896 across the province (627 stations, low €1.699). Filling up outside the city tends to cost less than inside it.

Routes that fit a week

• Sagunto and Xàtiva: short runs north and south-west, both comfortably inside a morning.
• Dénia and Jávea: further south on the same toll-free motorway.
• Benidorm and Peñíscola: the longer southern and northern runs — worth a full day each.

Why a weekly rental beats shorter bookings in Valencia

What that changes in practice is how much of the region you actually reach. Valencia Airport (VLC) sits 9.2 km from Plaça de l'Ajuntament in a straight line, 12.6 km by road, about 26 minutes without traffic. Albufera is a 21,120-hectare natural park declared on 08.07.1986. Sagunto, Xàtiva, Cullera, Gandia, Dénia and Peñíscola are all day-trip distance, and the AP-7 between Tarragona and Alicante has been toll-free since 01.01.2020 — 373.8 km released after the Aumar concession ended, which is why Dénia, Calp, Benidorm and Peñíscola cost nothing in péage from here. A weekly booking is what lets you take two or three of those runs instead of picking one.

• Cost per day falls with the multiplier: the weekly rate is daily × 6, so the longer the booking, the lower the effective daily figure for the same class.
• One hand-over instead of several: the delivery address, date and time are agreed with a manager once, and the car stays with you for the whole trip.
• A single fuel cycle: the car is supplied with a full tank and returned full — full-to-full, lleno-lleno in Spain — which is easier to manage across seven days than across three.
• Room for the ZBE rules: ZBE València covers 27.8 km² inside Ronda Nord, avenidas de Tarongers and Serradora, and Bulevard Sud, with the first stage running from 01.12.2025 to 31.12.2026 and restrictions tightening on 01.01.2027 and again from 01.01.2028.
• Parking becomes a planning question, not a daily one: zona azul in the centre and ensanches allows a maximum of 2 hours at €1.70 for 120 minutes; the rest of the city caps at the same 2 hours for €1.50.

A three-day hire covering the city, Ruzafa and the City of Arts and Sciences is comfortable. Seven days covering the same plus Albufera, Sagunto and a run down the AP-7 is not — and the arithmetic rewards the longer window anyway, because the rate is built as daily × 6 from the start. Work out the number of days you genuinely need before you pick a class: the multiplier is fixed, but the class you choose sets what that multiplier starts from, and €13 a day in Economy against €34 a day for a Crossover is the difference that decides the total.
