What the rate depends on

• Class: Premium starts at €51 per day, Minivans at €52, Luxury at €336 — the jump between the first two is small, the jump to Luxury is not.
• Model inside the class: an Audi Q3 is €56 and a Mercedes-Benz GLC €82, though both are Premium five-seat SUVs with automatic gearboxes.
• Seats and body type: seven-seat MPVs sit between €52 and €72, while a four-seat Bentley Continental GT is €627 — capacity and price do not move together.
• Fuel and drivetrain: diesel, petrol, hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions are priced separately.
• Booking length: the daily rate applies to short bookings; from a week the × 6 multiplier takes over, from a month the × 21 one.

The low-emission zone covers 27.8 km² inside Ronda Nord, the avenidas de Tarongers and Serradora, and Bulevard Sud, and it runs around the clock, 365 days a year. Cars on Spanish plates carrying a DGT sticker (B, C, ECO or 0) fall outside the restriction, which applies only to category A vehicles.

Speed limits and fines a driver has to respect

• Autopista and autovía: 120 km/h for passenger cars, motorcycles and campervans up to 3 500 kg.
• Carretera convencional: 90 km/h, and the road owner may raise it to 100 km/h on specific stretches.
• City, one lane each way: 30 km/h; a municipality can lift it to 50 km/h with a separate sign.
• City, single platform shared by traffic and pavement: 20 km/h.
• City, two or more lanes in one direction: 50 km/h, with bus and dedicated transit lanes excluded from the count.
• Speeding fines: the DGT scale runs 100 EUR without points, then 300 EUR and 2 points, 400 EUR and 4, 500 EUR and 6, and 600 EUR as muy grave. Above 60 km/h over the limit in town or 80 km/h outside it, the case stops being administrative.

ZBE València and the environmental sticker

The Zona de Bajas Emisiones covers 27.8 km² inside Ronda Nord, the avenidas de Tarongers and Serradora and Bulevard Sud, with staged enforcement: from 01.12.2025 to 31.12.2026 only category A cars registered outside the province of Valencia are restricted, from 01.01.2027 cars without a sticker registered outside the city, and from 01.01.2028 every category A car including residents'. Category A means petrol registered before 2001 and diesel before 2006.

Parking zones, alcohol and the phone

• Zona azul centro y ensanches — Ciutat Vella, L'Eixample and Extramurs: two hours maximum, 0.55 EUR up to 25 minutes, 1.00 EUR for 60 minutes, 1.70 EUR for 120 minutes.
• Zona azul resto ciudad: two hours maximum, 0.30 EUR up to 25 minutes, 0.80 EUR for 60 minutes, 1.50 EUR for 120 minutes.
• Zona naranja: non-residents only during rotation hours — 1.10 EUR up to 25 minutes, 2.10 EUR for 60 minutes, 3.30 EUR for 120 minutes; Ciutat Vella runs Monday to Friday 9:00–20:00, Ruzafa, El Botànic and La Roqueta 9:00–19:00, and everywhere Saturday 9:00–15:00.

For trips to Albufera, El Saler or Sagunto, check the boot against your actual luggage, and for airport runs at peak arrival times allow for the drive from Manises into the centre.
