Every crossover here carries five seats, so a family of four with bags is the natural fit; a fifth adult plus full luggage is where the smaller models start to feel tight. What you need to drive legally

• Foreign licence: valid for up to 1 year from the date you enter the country, and no exchange is required.
• Translation or IDP: if your licence has neither Latin nor Cyrillic characters, bring an International Driving Permit or a notarised translation — the country is a party to the 1968 Vienna Convention.

Seat belts are required for the driver and all front passengers — rear belts are not compulsory by law. Phones only through a hands-free kit or speaker, both hands on the wheel. The alcohol limit is 0.3 ‰ (0.03 %). Children under 3 travel in the back in a child seat or restraint matched to height and weight, though a passenger aged 16 or over may hold them on their lap in the rear; children under 6 must never be left alone in a parked car.
