Prices and VAT

All our pricing is presented including VAT; that is, the figure you see on the site does not change at the time of payment. Renting an automatic transmission vehicle starts from 1,600 TL throughout Istanbul, and this amount includes Turkey's 20% value-added tax. No additional items appear in the rental agreement; since compulsory traffic insurance legally covers every vehicle, it is not charged separately.

What Does Including VAT Mean

All prices on the site are VAT included; that is, for a Renault Clio listed at 1,650 TL/day, the amount you will pay is 1,650 TL, with no 20% tax added on top. In Turkey's car rental industry, it is common practice to embed VAT into the price, and we use this method across all classes. This provides an important advantage when comparing: drivers booking from abroad won't face a surprise tax bill upon arrival. For example, the Hyundai i10's daily rate of 1,600 TL is the final figure including VAT; the weekly 9,600 TL and monthly 33,600 TL amounts are also calculated tax-inclusive. Apart from the security deposit mentioned in the agreement, there are no additional prepaid costs. Knowing that VAT is included clarifies your budget and prevents any account surprises at handover.

• Vehicle class: In the economy segment, daily prices range from 1,600–1,900 TL, Comfort 1,950–2,600 TL, Sedan 2,900–3,600 TL, SUV 2,100–2,900 TL.
• Fuel type: Petrol models offer the widest selection; diesel and hybrid vehicles have a higher starting price of 100–400 TL per day but make a difference in fuel consumption.
• Rental period: The daily rate gives the highest unit price; weekly is calculated on 6 days and monthly on 21 days, so the daily cost decreases.
• Delivery point: Delivery within the city and to IST/SAW airports is free; long-distance requests are evaluated separately in the contract.

In monthly rental, the period between the day you pick up the car and the return day is set out in the contract.
