What the Rate Covers and What the Agreement Sets Out
The car comes with a full tank and is returned full-to-full; the deposit, excess, delivery fees and discounts are set out in the rental agreement. The rate you see above is the rate for the car. Delivery to any address in Valencia and to Valencia Airport (VLC) is agreed with a manager when the booking is fixed, together with the date and the time.

Which Licences Are Valid in Spain
- EU and EEA licences: valid in Spain exactly as issued for as long as they remain in force, with no extra document required and no international permit needed.
- Licences from outside the EU and EEA: accepted for driving as a visitor when the licence is still valid and the holder meets the Spanish age requirement for the equivalent category; once you take up ordinary residence in Spain, they hold good for six months and then must be exchanged.
- Licences not written in Spanish: valid only if they are issued in the format of Annex 9 of the Geneva Convention or Annex 6 of the Vienna Convention, or are accompanied by an official certified translation into Spanish.
- International Driving Permit: an additional document only — it is shown together with your passport and your national licence, never on its own, and it runs for one year.
The DGT advises drivers from outside the EU and EEA to obtain the international permit before travelling.

Driving Rules That Matter With 640 hp
Spanish speed limits are 120 km/h on autopista and autovía, 90 km/h on an ordinary country road, and 30 km/h on a city street with one lane in each direction — 50 km/h where there are two or more lanes each way. The general alcohol limit is 0.25 mg/l of breath, lowered to 0.15 mg/l for drivers in their first two years, and anything above 0.60 mg/l stops being an administrative fine and becomes a criminal offence. Holding a phone while driving costs 200 EUR and six points; a seatbelt offence is 200 EUR and four points. Fines are graded leve, grave and muy grave, and paying within twenty calendar days halves the amount.

Where the Roads Take You
Day trips run out of the city towards Albufera, El Saler, Sagunto, Xàtiva, Cullera and Gandia, Dénia and Jávea, Benidorm, Peñíscola, the Requena and Utiel wine country and Chulilla. The AP-7 (Autopista del Mediterráneo) between Salou (Tarragona) and Alicante has been toll-free since 01.01.2020, when the Aumar concession ended and 373.8 km were released — so Dénia, Calp, Benidorm and Peñíscola cost nothing in péage from the city. Speed limits are 120 km/h on autopista and autovía and 90 km/h on a conventional carretera. Fixed radars sit on the V-21 (acceso a Valencia) and the V-30 (vía rápida urbana), so keep to the limit on both approaches.
Before You Leave the City
The ZBE València (Zona de Bajas Emisiones) covers 27.8 km² inside Ronda Nord, the avenidas de Tarongers and Serradora and Bulevard Sud, but cars with Spanish plates and a DGT sticker (B, C, ECO or 0) fall outside its restrictions — only category A vehicles are limited. Fill up before you return the car: it goes back full-to-full, and the missing fuel plus a refuelling service fee are charged as set out in the rental agreement.

ZBE València: What Applies to a Rental Car
The ZBE València (Zona de Bajas Emisiones) is the low-emission zone, and enforcement is staged rather than immediate. From 01.12.2025 to 31.12.2026 the restriction targets only category A cars — petrol registered before 2001, diesel before 2006 — registered outside the province of Valencia; from 01.01.2027 it extends to category A cars registered outside the city, and from 01.01.2028 to every category A car including residents'.
Parking a Lamborghini in the City
- Zona azul centro y ensanches (Ciutat Vella, L'Eixample, Extramurs): maximum 2 hours, €0.55 up to 25 minutes, €1.00 for 60 minutes, €1.70 for 120 minutes.
- Zona azul resto ciudad: the same 2-hour cap at €0.30 up to 25 minutes, €0.80 for 60 minutes, €1.50 for 120 minutes.
- Zona naranja (mixed residents and rotation): non-residents pay €1.10 up to 25 minutes, €2.10 for 60 minutes, €3.30 for 120 minutes, and only during rotation hours.
- Zona verde: residents with a permit only — €86.20 for 12 months, charged pro rata by month.
- Times: zona azul runs Monday to Saturday, 09:00–14:00 and 16:00–20:00; zona naranja rotation hours vary by district — Ciutat Vella Monday to Friday 9:00–20:00, Ruzafa, El Botànic and La Roqueta Monday to Friday 9:00–19:00, and everywhere Saturday 9:00–15:00.
- Payment: through ElParking (EYSA) or Telpark, plus the kerbside parquímetro.
