Weekly and monthly bookings work out cheaper because you pay for six days in a week and twenty-one days in a month. For a two-week stay the monthly rate rarely makes sense, but for a longer trip it is worth asking us about the 21-day option when you book.

Delivering your Aion Y Plus rental anywhere on Phuket, including the airport
We bring the Aion Y Plus to you — delivery across the island and to Phuket Airport (HKT) is free, and the condition of the car on arrival is set out in the rental agreement. You tell us where you are staying, agree a time, and we meet you there with the keys. The same applies for arrival at HKT: land, collect your bags, and the handover at the airport is arranged as part of your booking.
- Free island-wide delivery: we bring the car to Patong, Karon, Kata, Rawai, Nai Harn, Bang Tao, Laguna, Surin, Kamala, Chalong, Cape Panwa, Phuket Town or any other point on the island — no delivery fee.
- Free airport pickup at HKT: the Aion Y Plus is delivered to the airport in Thalang district; from the terminal it is roughly 45 minutes to Patong and 20 minutes to Bang Tao.
- Condition on arrival: the crossover is handed over in the condition set out in the rental agreement, so you can start driving immediately.

Planning your pickup time on Phuket
For an airport collection, we recommend booking at least a day ahead and confirming your flight number by WhatsApp or LINE — the exact meeting point and handover time are agreed when booking. For a hotel or villa delivery, choose a time that avoids the heaviest traffic: the Patong–Phuket Town corridor and the route past Central Phuket are busiest in the late afternoon. The police fine for driving without the permit is ฿500–1,000, and an insurer may refuse a claim after an accident if you were unlicensed, so the permit is not a formality.

Rental agreement and driver conditions
Since 30 December 2025, a car rental agreement in Thailand is a contract controlled by the Office of the Consumer Protection Board (OCPB). The agreement is written in Thai, and all fees and penalties are disclosed in it — nothing hidden. The minimum driver age with us is 21; conditions for drivers under 25 are set out in the agreement. Traffic-camera fines are issued to the car owner and re-invoiced to the renter, so returning the car with an unpaid ticket simply delays your own paperwork. Read the agreement before signing — that ten minutes saves a misunderstanding later.
Insurance on your Aion Y Plus rental in Phuket
Every car we rent out, including the Aion Y Plus, carries the compulsory motor insurance (Por Ror Bor) that Thai law attaches to all registered vehicles, and this policy is included in your ฿1,600 daily rate. Por Ror Bor covers injury to third parties, which is the legal minimum, but for an electric crossover you will also want first-class cover for the car itself.
How the two insurance layers work
- Compulsory insurance (Por Ror Bor): covers medical costs for third parties injured in an accident; it is attached to the car, so you are protected from the first kilometre.
- First-class (Class 1) insurance: covers damage to the Aion Y Plus itself, including a collision or a single-car incident on a wet Patong Hill descent.
- Excess and terms: the deductible and the exact scope of Class 1 cover are written into your rental agreement, so you know your liability before you drive.
- Third-party property: if you damage another vehicle, the claim runs through the Class 1 policy, not Por Ror Bor, which only addresses injury.

What voids your cover
Driving without a valid International Driving Permit is the one action that can make an insurer refuse a claim entirely. - Khao Lak (~100 km, 1.5 h): the closest beach escape; flat, easy highway driving with a few places to stop if you stay overnight.
- Phang Nga Bay and Samet Nangshe viewpoint (~90 km): a popular sunrise run; the viewpoint road is asphalt but steep in places — use a low gear on the descent.
- Krabi and Ao Nang (~170 km, 3 h): a full-day trip; plan your charging before you return.
- Khao Sok national park (~175 km, 3 h): the jungle lake and limestone karsts are reachable on sealed roads only — the agreement prohibits off-road driving, so stick to the main entrance.
The roads south of the island are all toll-free — paid expressways only appear around Bangkok, so your daily rate is the final cost for any southern route. Before you set off, confirm the charging situation at your destination; while Phuket Town and the main tourist areas have public chargers, smaller towns such as Khao Lak have fewer options.
