What Does Including VAT Mean

In Turkey, 20% VAT is added to car rental prices, and all our prices include this tax. So the 3,600 TL you see in the list is the final amount you need to pay; VAT is not reflected in the cart, and there is no surprise increase during payment. This is especially important for foreign drivers who want to see their budget clearly — because many platforms show prices excluding VAT and the amount increases at the last step. Compulsory traffic insurance is also legally required for all vehicles and is included in the rental fee; additional insurance options and the deposit amount are specified in the contract. To benefit from the VAT-inclusive price advantage, you can prefer weekly or monthly rentals — in this case, your daily unit cost decreases and you can plan your total budget more predictably.

A — Daily Weekly Monthly

Our prices are calculated based on three different durations: daily, weekly, and monthly. Weekly rental is calculated by multiplying the daily rate by 6 days, and monthly rental by 21 days — so for longer rentals, the daily rate drops significantly.

• Daily rental: For the Mercedes-Benz A-Class, prices start at 3,600 TL; for the S-Class, they go up to 15,000 TL. VAT is included.
• Weekly rental: It is calculated by multiplying the daily rate by 6. For the C Series it starts from 28,800 TL per week, and for the A Series from 21,600 TL.
• Monthly rental: Calculated by multiplying the daily rate by 21. On the A-Class, monthly packages starting from 75,600 TL are the most economical option for those staying in the city for a month or longer.

In weekly and monthly rentals, you incur a cost below the daily price. For example, if you rent the E-Class at 7,500 TL per day, the weekly total is 45,000 TL; renting the same car for 21 days, you pay a total of 157,500 TL. This formula suits most of our guests who need a car for more than a week for business meetings or holidays.

If you want to take the Vito to Şile or Sapanca on the weekend with a group of 8, you can reduce the daily cost by paying 36,000 TL weekly instead of the 6,000 TL daily rate. Since all prices are presented including VAT, no additional tax surprise arises at the contracting stage; the amount to be paid is the figure you see when starting the rental.

B — What Does VAT Included Mean

VAT-included price means that the 20% value-added tax is already included in the rental fee. For Rent-Trip's Mercedes-Benz vehicles, no extra VAT is added on top of the daily rates you see; the listed amount is the final figure stated in the contract and what you pay. In Turkey, car rental services are subject to VAT and this tax rate is legally 20%; while some companies show prices without tax and add it at payment, in our system all listings are published with tax included.

The inclusion of VAT in the price eliminates an element of surprise, especially for drivers planning their budget. For example, when you see 3,600 TL per day for a Mercedes-Benz A-Class, that entire amount is the rental fee; no additional tax item appears at delivery or when signing the contract.
