Girona-Costa Brava Airport sits at Vilobí d'Onyar, 12.5 km south-west of Girona, and it is the closest gateway to the resorts. GRO to Lloret de Mar is 34.6 km and about 37 minutes; GRO to Roses is 75.2 km and 63 minutes; GRO to Cadaqués is 89.4 km and 80 minutes, with 41.8 km of that on the AP-7. From Barcelona-El Prat (BCN), Lloret de Mar is 89.6 km and roughly 75 minutes without traffic, mostly on the C-32 and C-31. Landing at GRO puts you 37 minutes from Lloret de Mar; landing at BCN puts you an hour and a quarter away.

The Zona de baixes emissions (ZBE) de Girona has been in force since 15.09.2025 and covers the area from la Devesa park to c. d'Emili Grahit and from c. del Riu Güell to c. del Carme and Barri Vell, on working days between 7 and 20, Monday to Friday. Cars without a DGT environmental sticker that are not registered in Girona are the ones restricted; cameras read number plates, so there is nothing to display. Twenty-four days a year are allowed inside the restricted hours without a permit, and foreign plates can get a temporary authorisation if the car meets the technical and environmental requirements. Spanish rental fleets carry the DGT sticker, so a Rent-Trip Mini is not affected by the restriction.

If the car or the price does not match the booking
