Kia Stonic opens the range at €33 a day with a 1.0 L, 100 hp petrol engine and a manual gearbox; Volkswagen T-Roc closes it at €40 with 1.5 L, 150 hp and the same manual set-up. Between those two poles sit four hybrids — Jeep Renegade, Toyota Yaris Cross, Ford Puma and Toyota C-HR — and five automatics, so a driver who wants both a hybrid and an automatic is choosing among three cars, not fourteen. Toyota Yaris Cross at €35 and Ford Puma at €36 both carry hybrid power for a family of five, and neither asks you to pay for performance you will not use on a run to Albufera. If you are weighing two models, tell the manager which roads you plan and the choice usually settles itself.

Manual or automatic for city driving

An automatic is easier in stop-start traffic, and five of our fourteen crossovers have one — the Jeep Renegade, Toyota Yaris Cross, Volkswagen T-Cross, Volkswagen Taigo and Toyota C-HR. A manual covers the other nine and starts at €33 a day with the Kia Stonic. In Spanish fleets a manual gearbox is the default, so an automatic is a class of its own rather than a free upgrade on the same car. The choice comes down to the driver, not the route: if you have not driven a manual for years, book the automatic and give yourself one less thing to think about on the first morning.

A week of crossover car rental here starts at €198 and a month at €693 — the two longer rates we quote, calculated as the daily rate × 6 and × 21. Nothing else changes: same 14 five-seat crossovers, same €33–€40 daily spread, same full-to-full fuel rule.

What a week or a month of crossover hire costs

The weekly figure is the daily rate multiplied by six, the monthly by twenty-one. A Kia Stonic at €33 a day comes to €198 for a week and €693 for a month; a Volkswagen T-Roc at €40 lands at €240 and €840 on the same multipliers. The arithmetic is identical across all 14 models, so the cheapest car stays the cheapest at every length.

• Monthly rate: daily price × 21 — €693 to €840.

We agree the address, the date and the time with a manager before the booking is fixed — the same step as for a three-day hire, no separate procedure for a month. The deposit, the excess and any delivery fee are set out in the rental agreement, not quoted here.

If you are weighing a week against a month, compare the two multipliers first: at €35 a day the weekly total is €210 and the monthly €735. Tell the manager which one you need when you book, and the car is reserved on that basis.

• Valencia Airport (VLC): arrivals at Manises, 12.6 km by road from Plaça de l'Ajuntament, roughly 26 minutes without traffic.
• Joaquín Sorolla station: the high-speed rail terminus, convenient if you arrive by high-speed train and want the car the same morning.
• Feria Valencia: Avenida de las Ferias s/n, 46035 València, in Benimàmet — useful during trade fairs when you need wheels daily.
• Your accommodation: any address in the city, including Ruzafa, the city centre, Malvarrosa and El Cabanyal.

How the hand-over is arranged

Metrovalencia lines 3 and 5 connect the airport to the centre in about 15 minutes, so if your flight lands late you can reach your hotel first and take the car there instead — the delivery address is your choice, not ours.

Delivery outside the city is arranged case by case and is not promised on the site. If your plans start further along the coast, ask before you book rather than after — a delivery point that was never agreed cannot be honoured on the day.

Parking and Fuel for Your Crossover Car Rental in Valencia

Three practical things decide how a crossover behaves on Valencian asphalt: whether your car is allowed into the low-emission zone, where you can leave it, and what a litre of fuel costs.

ZBE València and hire cars

ZBE València (Zona de Bajas Emisiones) covers 27.8 km² inside the Ronda Nord, the avenidas de Tarongers and Serradora and the Bulevard Sud, and runs around the clock, 365 days. Stage one, from 01.12.2025 to 31.12.2026, restricts only cars without a DGT sticker (category A) registered outside the province of Valencia; from 01.01.2027 that becomes outside the city, and from 01.01.2028 every category A car, residents included. Category A means petrol registered before 2001 and diesel before 2006. A DANA moratorium keeps the rules off vehicles of owners registered in municipalities hit by the 2024 floods until 31.12.2027, with a further year of grace for the pedanías of El Palmar, Pinedo and Castellar-Oliveral. Cameras are few: hasta seis cajas, pero solo dos radares que irán rotando.

Parking zones and rates

• Zona azul centro y ensanches (Ciutat Vella, L'Eixample, Extramurs): all drivers, maximum 2 hours, €0.55 up to 25 minutes, €1.00 for 60 minutes, €1.70 for 120 minutes, billed in 5-minute steps.
• Zona azul resto ciudad: all drivers, 2 hours maximum, €0.30 up to 25 minutes, €0.80 for 60 minutes, €1.50 for 120 minutes.
• Zona naranja: non-residents only during rotation hours — Ciutat Vella Monday to Friday 9:00–20:00, Ruzafa, El Botànic and La Roqueta Monday to Friday 9:00–19:00, Saturdays 9:00–15:00 everywhere; €1.10 up to 25 minutes, €2.10 for 60 minutes, €3.30 for 120 minutes.
• Zona verde: residents with a permit only, €86.20 for 12 months.
