- Fines: an unpaid parking session is 50 lari, with a 20 % discount for paying within 10 days.
The Rikoti Pass on the east–west E60 opened on 29.12.2025 — 52 km, 51 tunnels and 97 bridges — and it is free as well, so a run to the coast costs fuel and nothing else.

- Validity: a foreign licence is accepted for up to one year from the date you entered the country, and no exchange is needed.
- Latin or Cyrillic script: if your licence is printed in either, it stands on its own — no translation, no permit.
- Other scripts: a licence without Latin or Cyrillic characters needs an International Driving Permit or a notarised translation — the country is a party to the 1968 Vienna Convention.
