For a Marina-to-Downtown evening or a business dinner, the Sports class at AED 700–1,600 covers the occasion without overpaying. For a bachelor party, a photoshoot or a drive to Abu Dhabi, an Exotic coupe from AED 1,400–3,200 changes the tone entirely — the McLaren 720S at AED 3,000 and the Huracan at AED 3,200 are the top of our range. Who Can Drive — Age Limits for Sports and Exotic Coupes

The minimum driving age here is 21, but for the coupes on this page we require a minimum of 25. This applies across the entire fleet, from the AED 700/day Ford Mustang to the AED 3,200/day Lamborghini Huracan. If you are between 21 and 24, you can still hire a standard car from Rent-Trip, but not a sports or exotic coupe. The age check is part of the booking request, so we confirm it before we deliver the car to your hotel or the airport.

Documents for Residents and Tourists — What to Prepare

The document pack depends on whether you hold a UAE residency visa or are visiting on a tourist entry.

• UAE residents: Emirates ID and a valid UAE driving licence are the two documents we need at handover.
• Tourists: passport with the UAE entry stamp, a full home driving licence, and an International Driving Permit if the home licence is not printed in Latin script.
• Licence validity: your home licence must be valid for the entire period of hire — we check the expiry date during the booking confirmation.
• Security deposit: a hold is placed on your card at delivery and released after the car is returned undamaged.

If your licence is in Arabic, Russian, or any other non-Latin script, an IDP is mandatory — without it we cannot hand over the car at Dubai International Airport (DXB) or anywhere else in the city. The standard urban limit is 80–100 km/h, while Sheikh Zayed Road allows up to 100 km/h in most sections and 120 km/h on stretches toward Abu Dhabi. • Abu Dhabi: roughly 140 km from Dubai via the E11 — a comfortable one-way trip within your daily mileage allowance.

Where the rental agreement draws the line

Off-road driving, desert tracks and dune bashing are prohibited by the rental agreement — desert excursions are booked with a licensed tour operator, not in a rental car. Crossing into Oman requires a separate permit and separate insurance arranged in advance; we do not process it, so if Oman is on your list, plan that leg with a local operator. For Abu Dhabi, Sharjah or Al Ain, no extra paperwork is needed — just your licence documents and the car's registration card, which stays in the glovebox.

For a weekend trip, calculate your kilometres before you set off: Dubai to Abu Dhabi and back is roughly 280 km, which sits above the 250 km daily allowance, so the extra kilometres are charged as set out in the rental agreement. A weekly rental from AED 4,200 gives you more headroom for longer loops — and on a Friday, when the UAE weekend starts, the roads to Fujairah empty out after 10:00.
