Nissan car rental in Toronto with 9 models on one page
Rent-Trip keeps nine Nissans on this page: one badge, one fuel type, one gearbox, and a delivery model that puts the car where you are. Every vehicle below runs on Petrol with an Automatic transmission, so the choice comes down to size, drivetrain and budget rather than to powertrain.
Which Nissan models can you rent
| Model | Class | Seats | Drivetrain | From per day |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Nissan Sentra | Comfort | 5 | Front-wheel | C$ 70 |
| Nissan Kicks | Crossover | 5 | Front-wheel | C$ 71 |
| Nissan Murano | SUV | 5 | All-wheel | C$ 71 |
| Nissan Versa | Economy | 5 | Front-wheel | C$ 74 |
| Nissan Rogue | SUV | 5 | All-wheel | C$ 77 |
| Nissan Maxima | Sedan | 5 | Front-wheel | C$ 82 |
| Nissan Altima | Sedan | 5 | Front-wheel | C$ 93 |
| Nissan Pathfinder | SUV | 8 | All-wheel | C$ 118 |
| Nissan GT-R | Sports | 4 | All-wheel | C$ 799 |
Petrol, automatic and seats from 4 to 8
All nine Nissans run on Petrol with Automatic gearboxes, and the seating splits three ways: one 4-seat car, seven 5-seaters and one 8-seater. Front-wheel drive covers five of the nine — Sentra, Kicks, Versa, Maxima and Altima — while the Murano, Rogue, Pathfinder and GT-R send power to all four wheels. Engine size runs from the 1.5 L unit in the Rogue to the 3.8 L block in the GT-R, with output between 122 hp and 565 hp.
Fuel is full-to-full: the car arrives clean with a full tank and comes back the same way, and any missing fuel plus a refuelling service fee is set out in the rental agreement. Regular petrol sits at about C$1.75 a litre, which keeps a compact Sentra or Versa inexpensive over a short city stay.
Choosing a Nissan car rental in Toronto for your trip
The table below matches each model to the trip it suits, so you can pick by use rather than by badge.

City and airport runs in a Sentra, Versa or Kicks
The Sentra at C$ 70, the Versa at C$ 74 and the Kicks at C$ 71 are the compact picks for city driving. All three are front-wheel drive with 1.6–2.0 L engines and 122–149 hp, which is plenty for the 400-series highways and easy to park on downtown side streets.
Family and road-trip Nissans with all-wheel drive
The Murano at C$ 71, the Rogue at C$ 77 and the 8-seat Pathfinder at C$ 118 all come with all-wheel drive.
The GT-R and Maxima for a performance drive
The GT-R at C$ 799 is the most expensive car on this page; the Maxima at C$ 82 is the cheaper performance sedan.
What Nissan car rental in Toronto costs by class
Nissan car rental in Toronto runs from C$ 70 a day for the Comfort-class Sentra to C$ 799 for the Sports-class GT-R, and every class on this page is priced from its cheapest car. The class table below shows the entry figure for each of the six classes we list.
Daily rates by class
| Class | Cars | From per day |
|---|---|---|
| Comfort | 1 | C$ 70 |
| Crossover | 1 | C$ 71 |
| SUV | 3 | C$ 71 |
| Economy | 1 | C$ 74 |
| Sedan | 2 | C$ 82 |
| Sports | 1 | C$ 799 |
A class «from» price is the entry car, not the top of that class: the SUV group starts at C$ 71 with the Murano but reaches C$ 118 for the 8-seat Pathfinder, and the Sedan group starts at C$ 82 with the Maxima but reaches C$ 93 for the Altima. The cheapest car here is the Sentra at C$ 70 and the most expensive is the GT-R at C$ 799.
Weekly and monthly rates for a Nissan
Weekly booking starts at C$ 420 (daily × 6) and monthly at C$ 1,470 (daily × 21), so the multiplier is fixed and a longer booking scales predictably from the daily rate of whichever model you pick. A week in the Pathfinder at C$ 118 a day works out at C$ 708 on the same six-day multiplier, and a month in the Versa at C$ 74 a day comes to C$ 1,554 on the twenty-one-day one — the arithmetic follows the car, not a separate long-stay rate card. Because the multiplier never changes, you can work out the cost of a two-week or three-week trip yourself before you call: take the daily rate, multiply by six for each full week.
- Deposit: the amount is set out in the rental agreement, not quoted on this page.
- Delivery fee: set out in the rental agreement and agreed when booking.
- Fuel: the car comes with a full tank and is returned full (full-to-full); any missing fuel and the refuelling service fee are charged as set out in the rental agreement.
Delivery within the city and to Pearson (YYZ), Billy Bishop (YTZ) and Hamilton (YHM) is arranged with the manager, who confirms the address, date and time before the booking is fixed.
Where we deliver a Nissan car rental in Toronto
Delivery to any address and to the airports
We bring the car to any address in the city and to three airports: Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ) and John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport (YHM). Pearson handles about 47.3 million passengers a year and sits 36 km from the centre by road — roughly 38 minutes without traffic — while Billy Bishop is only 6 km out, about 12 minutes. Name the exact address and time when booking; the manager confirms both before the booking is fixed.
How the booking is agreed with a manager
The car arrives clean and with a full tank, and it goes back the same way: full-to-full, otherwise the missing fuel and a refuelling service fee are charged as set out in the rental agreement. On longer stays, weekly hire starts at C$ 420 and monthly at C$ 1,470.
Places inside the delivery area
Outside these places: delivery is arranged case by case and is not promised on the site.
Documents and driving rules for Nissan car rental in Toronto
Licence, IDP and the three-month line
If you are visiting Ontario for less than 3 months, you can use a valid driver's licence from your own province, state or country. If you will be visiting from another country for more than 3 months, you will need an International Driver's Permit (IDP) from your own country — it cannot be issued in Canada. The legal minimum age to drive is 16, and the minimum rental age, any young-driver surcharge and the cards accepted are agreed when booking.
Alcohol, speed and what the signs say
Ontario treats alcohol behind the wheel as a criminal matter from 0.08 (80 mg per 100 ml of blood). The 0.05–0.079 band is the warn range: a first occurrence brings an immediate 7-day licence suspension, an 8-hour course and a C$ 250 fine. Drivers 21 and under, and holders of G1 or G2 licences, must show zero. Read the signs rather than assume, since the 110 zone applies only where it is posted.
Tolls, fuel and the border
- Highway 407 ETR: a cashless toll road; light vehicles pay from 49.93¢ to 119.21¢ per km by zone and entry time, plus a C$ 1 trip toll charge.
- Without a transponder: camera charges of C$ 5.30 per trip and a C$ 5 monthly account fee apply.
- Fuel: regular petrol sits at about C$ 1.75 a litre; diesel at C$ 2.61. Our cars go out full and come back full (full-to-full); the missing fuel and a refuelling service fee are set out in the rental agreement.
- Winter tyres: not mandatory in Ontario; in Quebec they are compulsory from 1 December to 15 March for Quebec-registered cars, rental cars included, with a C$ 200–300 fine — cars on plates from other provinces are not covered.
- Crossing to the United States: most cars rented in Canada may travel there, but only with the permission of the specific rental location; without written permission the trip breaches the contract and the insurance. Carry your passport at the border.
Fuel, mileage and hand-over on a Nissan car rental in Toronto
Every Nissan Rent-Trip hands over comes clean and with a full tank, and it goes back the same way. That full-to-full rule is the whole fuel policy — we offer no pre-paid tank and no full-to-empty option on this page. If the car returns below full, the missing fuel and a refuelling service fee are charged as set out in the rental agreement.
How the hand-over works
- Address and time: the delivery address, the date and the time are agreed with a manager before the booking is fixed, so the car arrives where you actually are.
- The agreement: the deposit, the insurance excess, delivery fees and any discounts are set out in the rental agreement, not quoted on this page.
Two things to settle before a long drive: the Highway 407 ETR is tolled and cashless, and who covers road charges, tolls and any penalty notice is agreed when booking rather than assumed. Crossing into the United States needs written permission from the rental point — most cars taken in Canada can go, but not without it, and driving out without permission breaks both the agreement and the insurance. Bring a passport for the border, and carry the ownership permit in the car: Ontario requires the original or an exact copy, along with valid insurance.
Why travellers pick our Nissan car rental in Toronto
The car comes to you. We deliver to any address in the city and to Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ) and John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport (YHM). The same applies to a hotel in Downtown Toronto, a flat in North York or a house in Mississauga: name the address, and the manager confirms it before the booking is fixed.
- Price spread that matches the trip: the Sentra at C$ 70 a day for city errands, the Rogue at C$ 77 for a Muskoka weekend, the GT-R at C$ 799 when the drive itself is the point.
- Longer bookings scale predictably: weekly from C$ 420 and monthly from C$ 1,470, calculated as daily × 6 and daily × 21 — the same arithmetic whichever model you choose.
- Full-to-full fuel: the car arrives clean with a full tank and goes back the same way, so you pay for the fuel you actually burn.
- Clear paperwork: the deposit, insurance excess and delivery fees are set out in the rental agreement, and the delivery address, date and time are agreed with a manager before the booking is fixed.
Rules you can check before you drive. Ontario lets a visitor from another country drive on a valid licence for the first 3 months; stay longer and you need an International Driver's Permit from your own country, which cannot be issued in Canada. Speed limits on selected stretches of provincial highway run at 110 km/h instead of 100 km/h — read the signs rather than assume. Winter tyres are not mandatory in Ontario, though Quebec requires them from 1 December to 15 March for Quebec-registered cars.
Ask the manager, get it in the agreement, and the rest of the trip is yours.
