Exotic car rental in United Kingdom
Exotic car rental in United Kingdom starts with the class itself: 12 exotic cars, from £954 a day, delivered to any address in London and to all six London airports. The fleet runs from the McLaren 570S to the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ at £3,300 a day, every car automatic, and the delivery address, date and time are agreed with a manager before the booking is fixed.
What exotic car rental in United Kingdom includes with Rent-Trip
Rent-Trip runs one Exotic class of 12 cars — Ferrari, Lamborghini and McLaren — from £954 to £3,300 a day. You drive the car yourself, we bring it to your address, and every booking is agreed with a manager before it is fixed.
Self-drive supercars, not a chauffeur service or a track day
We hand over the car itself: you sit in the driver's seat and no driver comes with it. That makes the exotic class a road product, not a passenger experience — the point is the 570 hp of a McLaren 570S or the 770 hp of an Aventador SVJ under your right foot on a British A-road.
What you book is the vehicle, the dates and the delivery address; the rest of the day is yours to plan. Track days and gift vouchers belong to a different product and are not offered here — there is no circuit time and no instructor in the package.
In our practice, most customers take the car for a weekend or a single long day rather than a week, and the two-seat cars go first. If you want the car waiting at the terminal when you land, say so when the booking is agreed — the delivery slot is fixed with the manager, not on the page.
Twelve cars in one Exotic class from £954 a day
- Model range: 12 cars across three marques — McLaren, Ferrari and Lamborghini — with the McLaren 570S at £954 a day and the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ at £3,300 a day.
- Body types: five Coupes, five Convertibles and two SUVs, so the choice is between a closed roof, an open one and family space.
- Seats: nine two-seat cars, two four-seat cars and one five-seat car — the Lamborghini Urus.
- Fuel and gearbox: 11 cars run on Petrol and one is Hybrid, the Ferrari 296 GTB; all 12 are Automatic.
- Drive: six cars put power to the rear wheels and six to all four, which matters on a wet motorway.
The cheapest way into the class is a Coupe, and the Convertibles start one step up.
Every car is supplied clean with a full tank and must come back full — the full-to-full rule is the only fuel option we offer, and anything else is charged as set out in the rental agreement.
Choosing your exotic car rental in United Kingdom by body style
Body style decides more about an exotic car rental in United Kingdom than the badge on the bonnet. Our 12 cars split into five Coupes, five Convertibles and two SUVs, and each shape answers a different trip: a closed coupe for motorway miles, a convertible for open-air drives, an SUV when luggage and passengers come first.
Coupe, Convertible or SUV — what each body type gives you
Five Coupes, five Convertibles and two SUVs cover closed-road speed, open-air driving and luggage. The Coupe group runs from the McLaren 570S at £954 a day through the Ferrari 296 GTB, McLaren 720S and Ferrari 488 Pista to the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ at £3,300 — the most expensive car on this page, with 770 hp from a 6.5 L V12 and all-wheel drive. Convertibles: the Ferrari Portofino, Lamborghini Huracan Performante Spyder, Lamborghini Huracan Evo Spyder, Ferrari F8 Spider and Lamborghini Aventador Roadster. The two SUVs are the Lamborghini Urus and the Ferrari Purosangue. The Urus is the only 5-seat car here; the Purosangue seats 4, so a group of five has exactly one option.
The full fleet compared by seats, fuel, drive and power
| Model | Body & seats | Fuel | Drive | Power |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| McLaren 570S | Coupe, 2 | Petrol | Rear-wheel | 570 hp, 3.8 L |
| Ferrari Portofino | Convertible, 4 | Petrol | Rear-wheel | 600 hp, 3.9 L |
| Ferrari 296 GTB | Coupe, 2 | Hybrid | Rear-wheel | 830 hp, 3.0 L |
| Lamborghini Huracan Performante Spyder | Convertible, 2 | Petrol | All-wheel | 640 hp, 5.2 L |
| Lamborghini Urus | SUV, 5 | Petrol | All-wheel | 650 hp, 4.0 L |
| Lamborghini Huracan Evo Spyder | Convertible, 2 | Petrol | All-wheel | 640 hp, 5.2 L |
| McLaren 720S | Coupe, 2 | Petrol | Rear-wheel | 720 hp, 4.0 L |
| Ferrari F8 Spider | Convertible, 2 | Petrol | Rear-wheel | 720 hp, 3.9 L |
| Ferrari 488 Pista | Coupe, 2 | Petrol | Rear-wheel | 720 hp, 3.9 L |
| Ferrari Purosangue | SUV, 4 | Petrol | All-wheel | 725 hp, 6.5 L |
| Lamborghini Aventador Roadster | Convertible, 2 | Petrol | All-wheel | 740 hp, 6.5 L |
| Lamborghini Aventador SVJ | Coupe, 2 | Petrol | All-wheel | 770 hp, 6.5 L |
Every car is Automatic; 11 run on Petrol and one is Hybrid. Rear-wheel drive covers six cars, all-wheel drive the other six, and the two SUVs are the only bodies with a rear bench and a boot behind it, while the Ferrari Portofino is the one other car with rear seats.
In our experience the Urus is the car most groups settle on when they want one vehicle for the whole stay: five seats, 650 hp and enough luggage space for airport runs. If the trip is two people and a weekend, a Coupe keeps the drive focused and the roof shut at motorway speed.
Exotic car rental in United Kingdom for two, four or five people
Our 12 cars split by seats into nine two-seaters, two four-seaters and a single five-seater, so the group size decides the shortlist before the model does. Rent-Trip supplies every car as a self-drive hire, and the seating is fixed by the body — there is no optional rear bench on any model here.
Two-seat cars for a couple or a solo drive
Nine of our 12 cars are two-seaters, starting with the McLaren 570S at £954 a day. The group covers both fixed-roof and open-top driving: the 570S, Ferrari 296 GTB, McLaren 720S, Ferrari 488 Pista and Lamborghini Aventador SVJ are Coupes, while the Lamborghini Huracan Performante Spyder, Huracan Evo Spyder, Ferrari F8 Spider and Aventador Roadster are Convertibles. Power runs from 570 hp in the 570S to 830 hp in the hybrid 296 GTB and 770 hp in the Aventador SVJ, and every one of them is Automatic.
Two-seaters carry no rear bench — plan luggage around the front boot, and treat the passenger seat as the only spare space on a longer trip.
Four and five seats when the whole group travels
- Ferrari Portofino: a 4-seat Convertible with a 3.9 L Petrol engine, 600 hp, rear-wheel drive and Automatic gearbox.
- Ferrari Purosangue: a 4-seat SUV with a 6.5 L Petrol engine, 725 hp and all-wheel drive — the only four-seat car here with a raised body.
- Lamborghini Urus: a 5-seat SUV with a 4.0 L Petrol engine, 650 hp and all-wheel drive.
- Group of five: the Urus is the only five-seat car on this page, so a fifth passenger means this model or a second car.
The Urus is also the practical pick when the trip includes airport luggage, since, like the Purosangue, it has a rear row and a boot rather than a front compartment, and it is the only one of the two with five seats.
For a couple flying into London and driving out to the Cotswolds, a two-seater works; for four adults with bags, the Purosangue or Portofino keeps everyone in one car. Tell the manager the headcount when booking — the seat count is fixed by the body, so it decides which car is agreed.
Where we deliver an exotic car rental in United Kingdom
Rent-Trip brings the car to you rather than asking you to collect it from a depot. Delivery covers any address in the city and all six London airports, and the exact address, date and time are agreed with a manager before the booking is fixed. Nothing about the hand-over is left to guesswork on the day.
Delivery to any address in the city and to six airports
We deliver to any address in the city and to Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton, London City and Southend. Each of those six airports sits inside our delivery area, so an exotic car rental in United Kingdom can start the moment you clear arrivals — the car is brought to the terminal you land at, not to an off-site compound you have to find. Outside these places delivery is arranged case by case and is not promised on the site, so ask before you commit to an address.
How the address, date and time are fixed
- The address: any address in the city qualifies, whether a hotel, a private flat or a business reception — you give it to the manager, not to a form that decides for you.
- The date and time: both are agreed with a manager before the booking is fixed, so a late landing or an early departure can be built into the plan.
- Outside the area: delivery is arranged case by case and is not promised on the site — confirm it with the manager first.
The car arrives clean with a full tank and must go back full; anything else is charged as set out in the rental agreement. In our experience the address matters less than the time window — a Mayfair hotel frontage and a Canary Wharf office block are equally straightforward, but a 06:00 hand-over needs agreeing earlier than a midday one.
Longer exotic car rental in United Kingdom by the week or month
Longer bookings on this page work on two multipliers only: weekly hire is daily × 6 and monthly hire is daily × 21.
Weekly from £5,724 and monthly from £20,034
Weekly hire starts at the weekly rate of the cheapest car in the class, the McLaren 570S, and monthly hire at its monthly rate. A weekly term is charged at daily × 6, so seven days cost the same as six at the daily rate; a monthly one is charged at daily × 21. The same arithmetic applies to every model in the fleet, so the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ at £3,300 a day runs to £19,800 for a week and £69,300 for a month. The band across the fleet is wide because the cars are: the McLaren 570S sits at the bottom of the weekly and monthly range, the Aventador SVJ at the top. In our experience the monthly figure is the one people misjudge — they multiply by thirty and then wonder why the agreement reads differently.
Rent-Trip keeps the car, the class and the delivery terms identical — only the multiplier changes when you extend. On longer hires we suggest fixing the return date at the same time as the pick-up date, because the return date, like the pick-up, is agreed with a manager before the booking is fixed.
What the rental agreement sets out
- Deposit: the amount is set out in the rental agreement and agreed when booking, not quoted on this page.
- Insurance excess: the excess that applies to your chosen model is written into the same agreement before the booking is fixed.
- Delivery fees: delivery to an address in London or to one of the six airports is priced in the agreement, not here.
- Discounts: any reduction on a longer term is agreed with a manager and recorded in the agreement.
- Fuel: the car comes with a full tank and must go back full — the missing fuel and a refuelling fee are charged as the agreement states.
A weekly or monthly term is a bigger commitment than three days, and the deposit, excess and delivery terms are what actually differ between one booking and the next — the daily rate on the page does not tell you the whole cost. Read those lines before the booking is fixed.
Driving an exotic car rental in United Kingdom on the road
Every car in our fleet is right-hand drive, because traffic here keeps to the left. The Highway Code sets the rules: rule 160 puts you on the left unless signs or markings say otherwise, and rule 183 keeps you near the left edge when you turn. On roundabouts you give way to traffic approaching from the right (rule 185), and the flow runs clockwise.
Speed limits are the same across England, Scotland and Northern Ireland: 30 mph in built-up areas (48 km/h), 60 mph on single carriageways (96 km/h) and 70 mph on dual carriageways and motorways (112 km/h). On lit roads the default is 30 mph unless signs say otherwise — and in many zones the signs read 20 mph, so the sign always wins over the default.
- Licence: a full foreign licence is valid for 12 months from your last entry into Great Britain — England, Wales and Scotland.
- Drink-drive limits differ by nation: England, Wales and Northern Ireland allow 80 mg per 100 ml of blood, 35 µg per 100 ml of breath and 107 mg per 100 ml of urine, while Scotland is stricter at 50 / 22 / 67.
- Phones: holding and using a phone, satnav or tablet is banned even at a red light — penalty points apply, and hands-free kit must not block your view.
- Seat belts: required wherever fitted; children need a child seat until they reach 135 cm or turn 12, whichever comes first.
- Fuel: the car comes with a full tank and goes back full (full-to-full), otherwise the missing fuel and a refuelling fee are charged as set out in the rental agreement.
In our experience the first ten minutes in a low-slung supercar matter more than the first hundred miles: mirror heights, pedal spacing and a long nose change how you read a junction. Pull over once after leaving the delivery address and reset the mirrors before you join traffic.
Charges that affect your exotic car rental in United Kingdom
The daily rate is for the car alone. Congestion Charge, ULEZ, the Dartford Crossing and the Blackwall and Silvertown tunnels are road charges, and each has its own hours, its own payment window and its own penalty if it is missed. We do not fold those into the quote — they are agreed when booking, so the figure you see is the car, not the road.
Congestion Charge
- Charge: a daily charge applies when paid on the day of travel or in advance, and a higher rate if paid by midnight on the third day after the trip.
- Hours: 07:00–18:00 Monday to Friday, 12:00–18:00 on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays.
- Zone: the streets inside the Inner Ring Road — Pentonville Rd, City Rd, Old St, Commercial St, Mansell St, Tower Bridge Rd, New Kent Rd, Elephant & Castle, Kennington Ln, Vauxhall Bridge Rd, Park Ln, Edgware Rd, Marylebone Rd and Euston Rd form the boundary and sit outside it.
- Not charged: from 25 December to the New Year bank holiday inclusive.
- Penalty: a PCN applies, reduced if paid within 14 days, rising after a charge certificate.
ULEZ and the tunnels
The Ultra Low Emission Zone applies to non-compliant vehicles, runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week except 25 December, and covers all 32 London boroughs — the M25 itself is outside it. Petrol cars must meet Euro 4 and diesel Euro 6; every car in our fleet is current enough to comply, so the charge should not apply to a Rent-Trip booking. The Dartford Crossing is charged per crossing for cars, usually 6:00–22:00 every day, with a penalty notice if it is missed. Blackwall and Silvertown are charged at peak and off-peak rates with Auto Pay.
Who pays road charges, tolls and penalty notices on a hired car is not something we state on this page — it is agreed when booking, together with the deposit, the insurance excess and any delivery fee, all set out in the rental agreement. Read those lines before the booking is fixed: a PCN costs more than most drivers expect from a day out.
Practical points before you book exotic car rental in United Kingdom
Before you confirm any dates, settle three things with a manager: the delivery address and time, the fuel rule and what the rental agreement says about deposit and excess. Those are the lines that decide what the booking actually costs you beyond the daily rate.
- Fuel rule: the car is supplied with a full tank and must come back full — full-to-full; otherwise the missing fuel and a refuelling service fee are charged as set out in the rental agreement.
- No other fuel option: a pre-paid tank or full-to-empty is not offered on the site, so plan your last stop before hand-back rather than after it.
- Age, licence and payment card: the minimum rental age, the young-driver surcharge and the cards accepted are agreed when booking.
- Deposit, excess, delivery fees, discounts: these are set out in the rental agreement and are agreed when booking, not quoted as a figure on this page.
- Charges on the road: Congestion Charge and ULEZ payments, the Dartford Crossing tariff and any penalty notice are not settled by the daily rate — who pays them is agreed when booking.
One practical note on dates: weekly hire is charged at daily × 6 and monthly at daily × 21, so a seven-day trip on the weekly figure costs the same as six days at the daily rate.
A full foreign licence is valid for 12 months from your last entry into Great Britain, and the cars are right-hand drive with traffic keeping left, so the first hour out of the delivery address is the one to take slowly.
In our experience the bookings that run smoothest are the ones where the address and the return time are fixed days ahead, not on the morning of collection — a supercar hand-over takes longer than a compact, and a tight airport slot leaves no room for it. Ask the manager to put the delivery point and the return time in writing before the booking is fixed.
